Hi All, Can anybody help. My girlfriend and I have lodge 189 PR visa on 01/11/14. Today we were requested further evidence about our De Facto reltationship by the case officier. They have asked the following: The decision maker must be satisfied that you and your partner: have a mutaul commitment to a shared life to the exclusion of others have a relationship that is genuine and continuing live together; or do not live seperately and aprt on a permanent basis; and are not related To assist in deciding your application the decision maker may have regard to any of the circumstances of your relationship with your partner including: the financial aspects of the relationship, the nature of the household, the social aspects of the relationship and the naure of the persons commitment to each other. please privde eviendece about any of the following aspects of your relationship. We have been together 8 years and have lived together 6plus years. We have already provided documents such as bank account statements, Joint Mail, Council Tax Demands, a couple of holiday tickets. Does anybody have any similar experience and can advise what they provided?

Hi All, This is a great thread and has helped my partner and I alot when we submitted our 189 visa application. We submitted yesterday and have uploaded all documents. With the exception of medicals and PCC's, these will be done when CO is assigned. What are peoples experiences with the waiting times to be assigned a CO. Are we best to arrange medicals and PCC's now or wait for a CO? We have noticed the 'attach document notes' refers to certified pay slips, skills assessments and IELTS test. It is necessary that these are certified or will colour copies be adequate ?

How long does the AIQS take to the assess the skills of a quantity surveyor? I understand they advise on a 2 month time period. When looking at some older posts, people have had positive responses with a days. Is it normal for it to take 2 months? When a decision takes a long time does it mean the response will be negative. I issued all of my documents 5 weeks ago. They acknowledged receipt a few days after submitting, but I have had no contact since. has anyone had a similar experience?
