Thanks, I'll fly to Perth in about 2 or 3 weeks. Need to arrange good bye visits with everyone now before I leave.

Hi Becsidaisy, Sounds like an awful and very stressful situation for you. Patience is the key, a lot of people don't hear from their CO's until about 5 or 6 weeks so Im sure yours will be any day now. I know that doesn't help when you are wanting to go out. Would you be able to go over on a 3 month holiday visa to be able to see your father in law? You are able to use other visas while you are waiting for the partner visa to be granted but you must let them know that you are applying for another visa so it doesn't cancel your other visa. If you are pregnant though make sure to check with airline if you plan to fly as I saw someone the other day say that a lot of airlines refuse anyone who is more than 5 months pregnant. I hope that they get back to you soon and that they can make an allowance for you

Bigboy01 got his last week so I think Im the last May 27th one on here to hear anything. I emailed on Thursday evening last week but not heard anything back. Yeah I had no idea what to put so was just like 'as I have reached my 9 month mark I wanted to check that everything with my application was ok'. They have probably put me at the back of the queue for bothering them now! Im having to stop myself from bombarding them with more! Hopefully you hear this week I may explode though if people after me start getting theirs through!!

9 months 3 days and going crazy :arghh: Day off work today which means obsessive email checking. I hope that all of yours take closer to the 10 month mark, I thought 9 months was/is bad enough can't imagine what 14 months would be like. £390 is an amazing deal. who is that flying with? Im loving that prices are so good at the moment.

Just over 2 hours of work hours left today and still no visa. I have a feeling its going to be after the 9 month mark for me.

Thats brilliant. Not long till you are both reunited Still nothing for me. I think I will email them and hope for the best. Does anyone know if the COs are based in Australia or England or both?....basically Im clutching at straws and hoping it will appear in my inbox over night! The email address I had for my CO has .au in it so that suggests Australia but I know others have previously said they are in London.

how exciting, when are you planning on going to Oz? I have already handed my notice in as I got a bit excited the other week!! I emailed last week when I had problems with my IMMI account and someone else responded to the email. I will email again on Friday if I haven't heard. I think this week is going extra slow now I know others who applied on same day have got theirs!

Thats great news PhoebeM. Same day as me too. I emailed my CO yesterday about the problem on IMMI website hoping it might push things through but no response and no Visa.

Not long for us then hopefully. Will be interesting to see if they come through close to each other. That is a good plan to give them a little nudge, I was gonna wait till the 9 month mark but this could be good reason to do it early! I haven't got their direct email so if anyone has KP's email address could you please PM me with it, thanks!
