Hello all The "test" reply from immi this morning says they're assessing up to 16 December 2013, it also states in bold type that they do not close for 10 days over Christmas and new year. It also says that there are 7175 contributory visas for year 2015/6 for onshore and offshore applicants. Good news or bad?! Cheers Steve

Hi Kim Yes seems like pigeon steps; just looked through my old emails and noticed that on 2 November 2014 they were assessing for 9 April 2013, so in almost a year they have only gone forward some 8 months. Regards Steve

Hi Amanda Yes I think it was 3 months from going on the market to actual completion. We're now sitting in our rental flat, what we call our "transit lounge" eagerly awaiting some progress. Hope you have a great time in Sydney, we're going over to Perth in January as our son is due to graduate which is something we want to see and obviously we don't know when/if we're getting our 143's anyway. Have a safe journey and good luck with the house sale when you go on the market. Best wishes Steve

Hi all The auto reply from the "Test" email to Immi today says they are now assessing up to the 6th December 2013. I'm back on the forum after an enforced absence caused by BT messing up our Broadband into our rental, we moved in last week and the house sale is completed now. Just want our visa's now - please!! Hi Amanda Yes - decluttering and packing is so much fun! Good luck when you go on the market. That was our thinking, to go on early and wait for a good offer, it came in just a few days so a different sort of panic set in. Now it's nail biting time waiting for the call to say we've exchanged. Hi Amanda Yes it has been a while, I hope all is good with you and your plans. Hopefully it was quiet all the way through to June/July 2014!! We've sold and are due to exchange contracts this week as we have a rental to move into now. Good luck when you take the plunge - we sold much quicker than expected. Regards Steve

Hi Anne This is from the auto reply "Test" email yesterday:- "PROCESSING ONSHORE APPLICANTS (Subclass 804) Once your application is allocated to a case officer (which may take up to 12 months) you or your authorised contact will be contacted and asked to provide more documents including police certificates and health clearances to complete your application. As soon as you are assessed as meeting all requirements your application will be placed in a queue and assigned a queue date to wait for a visa place. We are currently assessing for a queue date applications lodged in November 2014 We are currently assessing for finalization applications with a queue date up to April 2009" Hope this helps.
