Just wondered if anyone knows when you receive the grant do you have to give them dates when you fly ? Eg have to book flights once granted. As u have just seen on the spouse visa people had 28days to give them dates when they were flying out. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

Hi all. Just wondered really when your medicals were auto uploaded by medical centre if imigration would receive notification to say they were done? They were uploaded 30th November. I did email them but says takes them 28days to read emails anyways. I did log onto immi yesterday and found a request complete which I pressed yesterday (wish I had found that 2 weeks ago! Stats. Hi, Can anyone advise if you are able to take Tools in your suitcase to Australia. My husband is a joiner (and has a few of his favourite tools that don't weigh too much (he is buying most overtheir new). he would like to take with him) and we should have plenty of space in the suitcase as we are going to use an airline that includes 30kg each If they are all cleaned properly can we take them in the suitcase? Do you have to fill in a form at airport to declare them? It would be nice to take them with us rather than waiting for shipping (as we are not shipping anything) Thanks in advance

awesome news for a grant after 2 weeks. just interested. When you got the grant, Do you just get an email confirming it has been granted? I presume best to print and take with you just incase stopped at immigration. Then as soon as you go to Australia when they scan your passport they have the details.

we applied 13th November (uploaded everything except medicals) & have just received an email requesting medicals. That's just 13days to hear anything! pretty impressed. medicals booked in for tomorrow.

Hi. Just getting together all documents scanned to apply for 189 (invite yesterday) Just wondered for example if you can scan several pages together. Eg- I have 5 gcse certificates - can these all go on 1 attachment of 5 pages? Or does each one need to be each one individually. Also they request a passport photo. Do I just scan 1 passport photo . And does this need to be certified? Thanks in advance

Hi. Just wondered if anyone who has paid for their 189 visa application how much was debited from bank? It says $3600 or £1955 estimate. Just wondered as exchange rate is good what amounts in UK people are being debited from their bank? Or if you pay the £1955 as could be a difference of about £300

I've done AAT all 3 levels. I don't think it is recognised over in oz. I read that cima seems to be recognised over their and you can actually do acca exams over there. I have started acca here as followed on from AAT (as you get 3 exemptions for passing all 3 levels of AAT )

The skills was assessed through Victoria University, (English NVQ level 3 in joinery) and just received certificate to say successful. he didn't have to attend Victoria university or do a course- It was just getting the skills assessment to get the successful letter for migration- We went though process of technical interview ect)

Can someone please advise? just filling out EOI- There are 2 questions. 1- Education history Has the client completed, or is currently enrolled in any studies at secondary level and above?* (other half has completed Certificate in Joinery Level 3 NVQ) Do I say yes to this? or not if you say yes it gives the option to add qualification Australian study requirement Does the client meet the Australian study requirements for the Skilled Migration points test?* Yes No I presume say yes to this- as skills successful though Victoria university

Interview on Tuesday On the tradeset report I have said NO to 2 mandatory skills (which are not relevant to joinery in the UK or my job- and I have read online by others they have said no to this previously) Use explosive power tools for work tasks safety Carry out General demolition of minor building structures And I have said No to these Ellective skills Construct bulkheads 2-look into small business opotunities 3-manage small business finances 4-set in place and fix reinforcement materials 5-apply and install sealant and sealent devices 6-use machines that are controlled by a computer correctly for work tasks 7-frame and fit wet area fixtures

Yes of course we are waiting till positive skills. Just wanted to know I had all the documents to apply for eoi and to officially apply if accepted. I have illets certificate, and I presume will get paperwork from positive skills

Hi. just wondering how long people take to have their Documents assessed stage? before moving onto techinal interview, (Joiner- applying With Victoria university) (Applied 24/08 -decision ready 25/09, so now on document assessment stage.

regarding the speaking test my other half got asked to talk about a street that was memorable to him and talk about it for 2 mins. he had 30seconds to think about it and he could write in that 30seconds., ,then he had 2 mins to talk about it. So he spoke about the street he lived in as a child and explained surrondings,neighbours ect.
