Yes, hang in there! Very complicated. I'm not sure about the rest of you, but I had no idea that the timeline was so long before we applied. Our kids citizenship by decent only took a few weeks. I guess that's what my expectations were for some bizarre reason. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I agree, it's really difficult with planning and timings isn't it. Once we have the visa, we need to sell the house, then my husband has a 3 month notice period at work and we have kids that we need to get into a school over there, preferably at the beginning of the term. It would be great if they informed us when they approve the visa, but just say something like "Not for entry before XYZ date", then you feel safer to get along with the things like resigning from work and selling your house etc.....

Congratulations Amy21! Also, just wondering if anyone has been asked by the CO to do the health and police checks without a specific date for it to be after. Not sure if we missed it on the email, but there didn't seem to be one. My husband also uploaded the health check under my section as he had run out of space on his, anyone else done this? Thanks!

I'm glad that we paid double the price to have a longer processing time. ..... haha!:wacko: I also posted this question on another site and was told that sometimes the CO doesn't contact you unless they need some extra information ... perhaps we were too thorough ... :laugh:
