  1. No Offence but you got me here, I am a proud Nigerian and double as an Australian Permanent Resident. You obviously have some self esteem issues thats why you had to excuse your incompetence by vomiting the brouhaha you just did on a country as beautiful as Nigeria. Come to think of it what your CO told you is written in black and white on immigration website and doesnt need a 3rd party to explain. You claim to be educated in wherever you said you did but cant follow a clearly written simple instructions blaming your ineptitude on Nigeria. silly
  2. Definitely that too can pass a biological physical description
  3. Wow what a detailed experience. Well to me that looks like Aboriginal Cockroach with sunglasses on :-)
  4. †нªηк's Syed21 but on the look out for casual jobs in Sydney, where do you advise a new migrant checks 1st and what are the areas where one can get a relatively moderatly priced nice house for rent

  15. Yes I applied from within and my Previous employer is in Nigeria. My CO told me abt the security checks that kind of takes a while to conclude. In all my previous employers only one was called maybe others will still be called. What's your discipline? Post your timeline in your signature let's see.
  16. Oh well I pray it be same for me. :-)
  17. Nigeria is where an located. Your asertion that a verification call leads to Grant is cheering but what makes you think so? I guess its part of the routine background checks.
  18. @Shreya I'm offshore. And my former employer just told me that the call for verification was not from Australia as the case maybe that it came from SouthAfrica so this goes a long way to show that a 3rd party is working on the documents for verification.
  19. Oh Redski26 you lodged this August and got a CO almost already don't you see your case is different? and to cap it up you are a nurse and will be granted an accelerated timeline. Your grant is some micro seconds away.
  20. @wallas I will like to second your argument here. And for all June applicant like me please be aware that theses guys at DIAC are really working behind the scenes and they are not sleeping. Medicals and PCC aside, they called my previous employer today verifying some of the documents and reference letters I submitted. And to think it was during an odd hour 10pm Australian time shows me that either they are working overtime or a 3rd party is doing the security check for them. Please let's be all patient.
  21. STALE breaking news: DIAC after a successful baptism decided to change its name to DIABP. Am beginning to wonder if Skilled Independent Visa has been renamed Skilled Retirement Visa by the slow Teams :-) Cheer up June folks.
  22. That's a nice one Stevie. The best we could do is cheer up and receive the grant while we send our grand kids off to college:ssign11:
