You should have plenty of time. We applied on 28th December, it was created on 3rd January and we received it on 8th January. It's £45 each but an extra £5 if your paying using postal order.

We submitted on 8th November and got a case officer on 7th January with Team 2 Adelaide. Requested Form 80 from both of us and Australian tax returns from my husband as proof of evidence as working in Australia from 2004 to 2008. We had to ring the Australian tax office as he hasn't kept copies so they posted them out to us at the start of the week. :-)

Point number 3 - The total cost of the visa is required upon submitting your application. Without paying the fee you cannot submit.

Hi, we have an agent so all correspondence goes to them but we set up our own immi account and set up notifications for when the status changes. We logged on today as we had an email stating a change of status and the last updated date changed to today's date and where the status is received on documents there were additional documents that now had requested against them. The only thing we can't see is the actual message the CO sent as it goes directly to the email account specified in your application so will have to ask agent. We've applied for 190 for SA and have been allocated to Team 2 Adelaide. We submitted our application on 8th Nov x

That's what happened when we checked too and then a couple of days later we got a co so fingers crossed! They've requested form 80 from each of us and evidence of aus work experience for my husband. We've provided a reference from his employer that sponsored him on a 457 and we're going to scan over a copy of the visa as he didn't keep any wage slips etc as it Was from 04-08. Hoping that will be sufficient! I'm hoping worse case scenario is they only give us the 5 points for at least one year rather than the 10 points for 3 plus!

I've jinxed it! We've both been requested to fill in form 80!!!!

Co has requested evidence of Australian work experience. We have sent over a reference from my husbands boss but he hasn't got access to any wage slips etc as the business is no longer running and my husband (stupidly) didn't keep them as this was in 2004 We are going to send over a scanned copy of his 457 visa. Would this be sufficient considering it is employer sponsored visa? Hope so!

Wonder why 189's are being allocated co's before 190's??

If you put form 80 into google it brings it up as a PDF link. Probably easier to do that than explain what's on it as it's long!! Hoping we don't get requested to complete it! We have applied for 190 I'm not sure if it's applicable to all visas.

We have applied for 190 visa and used an agent, taking into account all costs of visa, agent, skills test, certifying of documents, meds, police checks etc for us all it has cost us about £9000. Visa was just under £4k alone!

We went to Bridgewater Hospital in Manchester - £595 in total for 2 adults and 1 child (£75 child £260 each per adult) that was inclusive of bloods, x-rays etc

south Australia were really slow issuing invitations, it took ages for us to get ours, see my timeline x

Anyone had their application dealt with by Team 2 Adelaide? Contacted them today as we submitted on 8th nov! Was told it was allocated to that team but no specific case officer has yet been allocated!

My daughter is 2. She would go to full time school in September 2016 but in oz it would be January 2017. From what I've researched on it, it's pretty similar to uk aside from start dates with regards to term dates etc. We have found the Kindy and nursery arrangements hard to grasp! That's a lot different to but from reception up seems pretty similar!

Hi could someone give me a contact number that I can chase up a 190 visa application on with dialling code, I can't seem to find anything!

Just wondering if form 80 is essential or only required if requested? We have submitted all docs for our visa but agent has not requested us to fill in form 80. Thanks

Hi we have applied for 190 for SA on the basis of my husband being a bricklayer subcontracting the same as your husband. We have used an agent. We just had to provide any wage slips from companies he did jobs for along with references. Any receipts we had (the odd few) we provided also, along with certificates of awards he had received for jobs he had done and this seemed to be enough according to our agent x

Hi just wondering how long people waited from submitting their actual visa to it being granted. We submitted our visa 8 weeks ago today!

Guidelines on immi website is within 7 weeks. We submitted our 190 on 8th nov (6 weeks 1 day ago) and no CO yet

Wow. We are on the 190 and submitted 6 weeks ago and still haven't got one! 190 is higher priority than 189 also! Fingers crossed to hear soon! :-)

I wouldn't feel comfortable doing it myself. Personally I think a good agent is well worth the money - for peace of mind more than anything x

Hopefully won't be too long, maybe pushing it asking before Christmas but I hope so! That would take it to the 7 Weeks! X
