Have spoken to agent ( recommended on either this or perthpoms ) and have been reassured as my daughter 16 she can chose where she lives under uk law. Her dad is not on birth cert and as she was born before 2002, I have sole parental responsibility so shouldnt cause any problems in moving. If case officer ( when we get one) asks for info I should email with this info. Haven't lodged yet but will update if any changes.

Well I emailed aphra saying how disappointing as had letter from Nmc stating date it was posted and they found my Nmc good standing so am glad I double checked

Hi am gathering documents for ahpra as hoping to get anmac in few weeks however emailed ahpra to see if my Nmc good standing still ok as it sent sep at same time as to anmac, reply states they don't have it!! I have letter from Nmc to say it sent. What to do bite bullet and resend or point out to ahpra that they really should have it. Think seen others with similar problem so best best to resolve welcome. Thanks in advance.

I have done little research as I have sole parental responsibility for my 16, and wanted to be sure I don't need permission. If absent parent has PR think need permission but for younger as children 16 and over can decide where to live themselves. This is what I gather but may be wrong best check with soliciter or social worker.

Think if u apply march u get 14 months. Dreading if need degree as have higher diploma and if I do degree my experience post degree will then go to 0!! I have a degree but it a ba in modern history lol wonder would that do.

You answer reading and writing in pencil. Writing is your choice I used pencil less messy when I changed words. Think I used question sheet for plan ( brief plan as timing is important element) good luck

Anmac documents! Anything I've forgotten??

If you have misplaced statement of entry nmc will forward you a replacement, this needs copied and certified. Don't forget ielts results(sent direct from test centre) not sure about how many copies but anmac forward some documents to ahpra if you prepared for wait for skill assessment to be processed. Think then you only need to add CV and CPD for ahpra( May be more once changes released) if I wrong hopefully someone will put us right -
Mine were original on headed note paper typed with signature hand written. From email I got last week it stated all my documents appear to be in order. May be told differently later on( am 4 weeks in and 12 more to go!) could have been nearly done except it took nearly three months to get a reference!

I really hope it not true as I have diploma (have degree in history but don't think that counts lol) I am staying hopeful that diploma with experience from uk/Ireland will be accepted. just have to keep checking AHPRA web site. debs since you already have your letter I presume that can't redraw same! Hope that the case anyway:)

check anmac site think from September if documents not complete they return all. So probably best to wait. I had to wait nearly 4 months for reference! Had asked two months before did ielts!!!

I sent documents to anmac on 17/10 and got email today to say they arrived and would be assessed and it could take 14 weeks( prob 16 as info on here suggests). I sent mine with Royal Mail it had to be signed for and it could be tracked. Maybe yours not arrived if you used surface mail? Other wise maybe contact them as 3 weeks seems little long. Good luck

When u fill in anmac form and pay they email cover letter and link for documents to send... I am all ready to send bar reference (only been asking from July!!) I have one from clinical sister might use that as we only have acting manager.. Just want to get anmac sorted. All documents needed to be sent direct already on route so at least it's started. Rcn recommend a 1:4 but as u say in reality fat chance

It new code this year for paediatrics it's 254425registered nurse (paediatrics) child health is more health visitor. It used to be registered nurse(nec) as not covered by other anzsco code. Hope this helps. This is the code I using as am registered nurse- children

I too was worried as I had put emigration as reason for doing ielts, however I passed 1st time with overall 9 ( 8.5 lowest) I think key in listening is focus as you said also it is like old 11plus it's about knowing the formulas. I practised listening reading and writing from online resources also book on academic. At home I had time over but on test day time was tight. Good luck. I found speaking worst as it was the one I had not done much preparation.

U need ielts result before anmac can be sent. U also need ielts sent directly to anmac. ( this is stage I am at... Waiting for ielts results. In the mean time u can get form from nmc in relation to declaring registration and get ur references from work. Work on cv and cpd for ahpra stage so when ready for next stage u will have some info gathered.

Ahpra website has guide on cv and a template in relation to same. Can't remember what part it under but once you go to web site and put it in search it should come up
