  1. Hi Victoria 123, Yes i am applying directly to NT for the SS. In any case, I need to submit an EOI (new rules i guess). Just sent off the docs to my agent. Yes i haven't found any job posting for unlicensed AMEs there (strange .. since its on the SMP list), All the jobs are either in Brissy or Perth. I have got a certificate IV aeroskills from Aviation Australia thro RPL recently though. Hopefully i will stand a chance this way. Thank for your reply

  8. I have submitted the EOI a couple of days back. My occupation (323112), is currently not on the SOL and is listed only on the NT Skills list. Please can you tell me how can i prove a. that i have undertaken detailed research into living and working in the NT that demonstrates you have a realistic knowledge of the relocation costs, living expenses (for example, food, utilities, rent), and accommodation costs to settle in the NT (this evidence should include a narrative explaining your reasons for wanting to migrate to the NT. b. copies of documents evidencing your employability in the NT with your particular qualifications and employment experience I am single, which means i have to show AUD 35000 worth of assets. Can i show this as fixed assets and liquid assets or is there a ratio or limit. Also i have bank accounts in two different countries, how should i have the monies converted to AUD for the purposes as requested by NT. Lastly, does it really take upto 30 weeks for the processing to complete? I know it is a lot of questions, i hope somboday... anybody... will find the time to answer them. thank you so much
  9. If the TRA had received your papers they will send out an acknowledgement letter to your agent,as your using one. Sometimes the acknowledgement letter may have gotten lost in the post (like what had happened to me the first time). In any case, the TRA will open out a file for you as soon as the papers are received and as jupiter19 has said, they should be able to give you some information you call them with you name, DOB and passport number or send them an email to traenquiries@innovation.gov.au I suppose you are applying from India. Are you using a registered migration agent? please check the MARA website for his credentials.
  10. Hello All, My EOI was submitted a couple of days back. Can the given name or surname be changed/updated after the EOI is submitted? Thank you. Leon

  20. Hello Everybody, Mt agent had sent in my papers to the TRA this February (ANZSCO 323112). He had received an email from them saying that they got the papers on the 26th Feb and an acknowledgment letter had been sent out. However my agent has still not received it. Does it mean that my papers haven't yet been processed?? Also what is this "March cut-off" for the TRA that i have been reading about? Please, any info will be appreciated. I am almost on the verge of going nuts waiting for any kind of good news. Thanks leon
