Hi ozpursuit. I dont exactly remember my timeline, but my 489 was lodged on 16th Septemeber, still waiting for the CO.

Hi Danepooh, the EOI procedure is the same for both 190 and 489... you will need to mention that your interested in the 489 and which state you are applying to. Once you are invited for the 489 your EOI will show the additional 10 points.

Hi, I am in the process of applying for a 489 under NT SS. Is it true that employers prefer permanent or 190 visa holders over 489 visas..? Also to qualify for PR do i need to work in my nominated occupation or can do any work i get as long as its full time. Thanks in advance for any info. - Citation

Hi, I managed to get the reference letter with a few white lies. Will the DIAC contact my employer as part of the final check prior to issuing the visa? I am hoping to get my notice after the visa comes through and i dont want to get into trouble before that. FYI i work in saudi arabia:cry:
