@froggles What a frustrating email that basically tells you nothing at all. I would rather they tell me you wont get grant before July 1st rather than say anytime up to and beyond July. Makes the waiting more painful. But let's keep the faith

March gang???? Mine was 24 Feb all docs received. So if March are being granted that puts me in the "more waiting" category

Funny how some COs are telling others that it will now likely be July and others dont mention timeframes. Mine just said "as soon as possible". Maybe they say this on the off-chance that visa places become available

@Kellie Thanks. I have always assumed it was 12 months from when the visa is granted. Now that's not fair for them to ask for meds when they know there are delays and then leave you with a shorter time to validate

I'm also with Brisbane 33 KD. Yout CO has been very explicit in mentioni g July 1st. Mine just says "as soon as possible". So from the look of your email it seems the quota is probably full now. July now seems more likely.

Karina, I asked CO why I hadnt heard anything since submitting all docs on 24 Feb and CO sent an email stating that they are reaching the visa allocation quota for this year so they are now queing applications so there is a delay in finalising the visas. So if visa quota is reached then they will stop granting until the new year on 1 July

@froggles, thanks for that. I see that relates to medicals being valid for 1 year. Lets hope we will all have got the grants well b4 then.

Kellie I know how you feel. I lodged mine 22 Nov. CO 14 Jan and meds 24Jan. PCC 24 Feb and I have been waiting ever since. I checked with CO 3 weeks after all docs had been submitted and got the "visa delay" email. So since then I've had to manage my expectation. I've said to myself I will most likely get the grant in July so I dont torture myself daily expecting the golden email but if it comes b4 then then yipeeee!!. Dont lose hope

Congrats. What was your timeline. Did you ever get the now notorious "visa limit full or quota nearing limit" emails from CO.

Thanks Dewi. Yes, there's hope coz some people with similar timeframes are being granted and others being asked to submit meds and pcc even after some of us got the delay emails

Froggles Regards immiaccount my CO said they dont update it even if they have all the docs. Mine still says docs requested tho CO confirmed she has all the docs required. Infact she previously said I should send any additional docs to her by email as they dont get any auto-notification if anything is loaded onto immi account. Makes you wonder how efficient this system is

Hi guys I emailed CO asking why immiaccount doesn't update even after CO has confirmed all docs received. Got this response; "We do not update the documents as received on the immi-account. All documents have been received and your application is queued for finalisation. * As the program is reaching its yearly limit, I am unable to finalise at this time. I will advise as soon as I am able to". So looks like there's a lot of waiting to be done

Dewi Where did you get these stats from. I always find the DIBP website to be very poorly laid out with no clear labels for where specific info is located

I emailed CO asking about delay and she said the RSM limits is being reached so apps are being queued tho 190 would have first pref. And from other threads I picked up that once quota is reached the we have to wait till the new allocation which is released at the beginning of the year on 1 July

Let's hope the wait wont be long because I have seen others with similar timeframes who have been granted from Brisbane 33. Does anyone know if the CO personally makes the decision to grant or not.

Sauib So we have same CO. Am just confused why they would still ask for meds and otber docs if the quota is almost full. Does this mean they are just piking up apps that are ready for grants and automatically grant everyone afyer July 1 coz it appears many will habe to wait till July. I also am worried that immi account seems to have been last updated a long time ago. Mine still shows docs requested for medicals even though COhas confirmed she has received all my docs.

Hey Jupiter Seems these guys are not updating the online applications. My CO confirmed all docs received after I emailed them but the website still says 'requested'. Infact CO said to me to send all docs directly to her by email as she does not get any notification if docs are lodged online. Not very good since immiaccount is meant to make things easier. Would be interesting to see if anyone gets a grant even after getting email saying the quota is nearly full
