The explanation notes after you lodge say "in progress" means the application is awaiting a CO to be appointed. I would assume "received" means your application was lodged successfully but am a bit confused why that would take 21 days. Mine submitted on 22 Nov has been "in progress" since I lodged it
And talking of panel doctors, the nearest to me would cost us £960 for a family of 4. If I drive a further 20miles to Manchester there is one that will cost us about £750 so I have decided the extra 20miles is worth it. Anyone with any experiences of affordable panel doctors. I live in Nottingham and the nearest is Sutton Coldfield which is 60miles away

Thats encouraging. So did you do your Meds and PCCafter getting a CO. How lond does the police clearance take and for the meds results to be sent thru to DIAC
Thanks Lily
I'm in the UK. From what you have said I think I will go ahead and book my PCC. NOt sure about the meds. Will have to read it first as I haven't done so yet. What is an SS?

Hi guys
I submitted my app on 22 November and have uploaded documents as well.
Is it possible to go ahead with medical and police checks before a case officer is allocated?
How much are the medicals
cheers
Hi guys
Have just recently submitted my 190 visa app. Any idea on the average waiting times till a case officer is allocated. It says 6 months on the DIAC website but just wanted some personal, if any, experiences out there.
Cheers
