We heard from ours on April 8th asking for some documents related to work experience and relationship. We had to get bank statements, pay slips, tax documents, leasings.. then translate those since they're originally in Spanish.. so after some effort and money.. we were able to reply yersterday.. the waiting game started again.. we have our fingers crossed! ​

Hi prprakash.. so I heard from my case officer today, they're asking for further proof about my experience... I've only work in one company so I think they're suspicious.. not big deal though! How about yourself? Have you heard anything?

Hi prprakash... I haven't heard anything from my CO yet! However, I checked my application online today and I noticed they were requesting new documents from me. Form 80, and others... My Agent is in Australia, so he's sleeping; he's the direct contact (He's the one that gets the emails); I should be hearing from him today... I'll keep you posted!

Hey guys! Please help! I'm using an agent who's in Australia, and I'm South America.. therefore.. he's sleeping and I'm up!! I logged in to the eVisa website and I noticed something different for the very first time in many weeks! A document already uploaded had been requested again, and in the summary of the uploaded documents the filename was changed to "TRIM"... I'm sure my agent must have received an email about this.. but it's 1am there and I'm going nuts!!:arghh: Also.. they're asking for a "Form 80" what's this for? Any information provided will be greaaatly appreciated!! Thanks all!

I've seen that some people got their referral letters after CO allocated; However, as soon as I lodged my application I had the referral letter for my medicals, is that something they started doing recently?

You can find information about the process at http://www.afp.gov.au/what-we-do/police-checks/national-police-checks.aspx But it is pretty straightforward... you pay AUD$40 using you credit card, and put your email.. in https://afpnationalpolicechecks.converga.com.au/ Then they send you an email asking for proof of identity and to fill out a form.. you sent an email with your passport scanned, and the form attached.. and then they email the certificate. That's it!

Relax!! It's not like you won't be able to go back if you don't like it! Just try it, if you like it... you'll enjoy it.. if you don't .. well.. at least you tried! And you'll always be able to go back! Now... discuss this with your partner.. you probably just need a hug and someone to tell you that.. everything will be just fine! :hug:

I've heard they don't like being pushed... that sometimes calling them just makes things go slower...

Visa 189, In the immi website it says that the CO should be allocated within 10 week after lodgement.. which is my case now... I've seen my docs status changing from required to received... How long did it take you visa to get granted?

Hi all, I've read a lot of things regarding this topic. I submitted my application on Jan 24th and I haven't received an email from a CO. Some have said that I might have one already, they just don't need any further information from me. I've seen the status of the documents changed from required to received. But no "official" notification about the CO. I've seen the first time the contact you is for requesting Medicals and Police Checks, however, I already have those uploaded. Is anyone going thru the same situation? Did the first time your CO contacted you was for requesting information?

I had the same case, if she's the main applicant and your career is also assessed, you can give her 5 extra points, the more points you have the faster you get invited.
