After 20 years of eluding spider bites I myself got my first this year! And then 2 more after that - 2 from Redbacks and 1 from White Tail I think. Bring em on!! Apparently the fitter you are the more immune you are to the venom, I must be pretty fit because upon consultation with the doctor, no anti venom was neccesary.

Yeah back on topic WA must be doing great. 2 million big ones pledged to boost the tourist economy and get more numbers into our oceans because our beaches should be really really clear of those pesky dangerous biteys, how dare they bite our kind on average of 0.785 per year...since Y2K, the year they all said would end..but I just pinched meself...and guesswhat Ahhhrrgh someone just pressed my cynical button... pls spank me ladies... :laugh:

It boggles the mind to think of the whole population of perth and where the water supply is coming from and going... yes we have rain in winter, but from memory its only 2-3 months in the year that has wetter months. It doesnt rain in summer at all.

Yeah if everyone was to use mobile broadband on an unlimited capacity then I guess bandwith will be all chewed up in cyberspace..... its only 2014 sheesh! Only in 2000 Dialup for home and GPRS Wap for mobile were the bees knees - Bursts of up to 56kbps... Wooooo

You need to factor in tax as well, not familiar with the recent brackets in U.K but after a certain amount here you have to pay 50c in every dollar. Im not an accountant but I have often wondered if someone earning 100k whether they would take the similar net amount compared to a 85k earner.
