  1. I wont say which club I belong to on an open forum, in light of what is happening at the moment. Your definition of a one percenter is wrong. Most one percent club members DO work. They have a lifestyle, families and responsibilities, the same as everyone else. These things do not pay for themselves.
  2. That these laws, in a court of human rights, will never stick. They`ve been overturned before, and the will be again...... Total infringement of civil liberties.....
  3. Complete and utter waste of taxpayers money.
  4. Is anyone on this thread an actual, full patch member of a club? A 1% club? Because most of you haven`t got the first idea about motorcycle club members.............or clubs.......
  5. Dont know why I bother sometimes.........
  6. 100k`s door to door. Takes about an hour and twenty minutes!
  7. Hi, we used Excess International, and have to say they were brilliant. Excellent communication all the way through, and no damage whatsoever... Hope this helps...
  8. Hi all. Anyone out there from the Mandurah area into bikes? Looking for like minded people to enjoy ride outs at the weekends. Cheers, Stu..........

    Trucking?

Hi, I drive for a heavy haulage/oversize company here in WA. We move lots of big mining equipment around, so get to see a bit of Oz, and get paid for the privilege! I drive a 540hp MAN. The European trucks are state-of-the-art, and really comfortable to operate. The American trucks, look cool, but when you step into the cab, you step back 20 years! 1500 litre tanks on mine, so I can cover a fair distance. As been said though, not very nice changing wheels in 40dg heat on the side of the road!
  10. If you leave English soil, you should relinquish entitlement to any UK benefits.....END OF!
  11. Next will be Millets. With big cheaper stores like Go Outdoors around, I think their days are numbered.....
  12. We live in Mandurah. Nice quiet little crescent, a couple of minutes walk from the beach. I can sympathise with those of you who have children. Must be quite hard, especially if you only have one earner in the family. We had all the nerves and worries about making it in a new country, as I didn`t have a job when we first arrived. Oh is sponsored in her job, so we had an income straight away, which helped enormously.
  13. Well, after reading this thread, I count myself lucky. Oh and myself, no kids, arrived Dec `12. Got a lovely rental, 200yds from the beach, $350 a week. Both got jobs with joint earnings of $161,000. In the UK, we just worked to survive. Now we can actually save money, enjoy life, not worry about paying the odd unexpected bill and have a better lifestyle and quality of life than we ever did in the UK! Livin` the dream?? Absolutely!...
  14. Exactly. We are all here because we want to be, right? So what`s the point in moaning about it?!!! Some Brit somewhere will always find something to moan about. It`s in their nature!!!
  15. Yes it can. I also have an old `76 Z900 Kawasaki. Because it`s over 30 years old, there is no import duty. So check out you Triumph criteria. I could bring both of mine, without any special pass...
  16. Yes it may do, but doesn`t feel like it, as it`s spread over a far wider area.
  17. Hi, if you`re only coming over temporarily, I wouldn`t bother. I had several quotes to ship mine, (2005 Softail), ranging from stupid to ridiculous! Best I could get was 1000GBP to ship, with import duties at around 4500GBP!!! Then it has to go over the `pits` to make sure it conforms to Australian standards, so, have to change speedo for one in kilometres, hence, more expense! Plus harder to sell on as classed as `grey import`!
  18. Ok, you believe what you want to, and I`ll believe what I want to.... And, as I`ve said, I don`t read papers...
