hope some one can help I had a bomb shell the other day after over a year of trying for a visa the immigration expert has just notified me that TRA have not recognising my 4 year city and guilds apprenticeship and my 10 years self employed books submitted as they do not recognise self employment as a joiner it has utterly devasted me as it has taken 15 points off my score have submitted 190 had 55 points and with state sponsorship would be 60 plus partner skills 65 points i have wasted thousands on ielts exams and trade test plus a year off my life gone for once again not been given the correct guidance from my IE HELp!!!!

See if you can send them out in a shared container ahead of you going they were willing to do it for me it will go by unit size if you had doubles you could send out a basic kit then what you were working with could be sent out as you leave depends on your trade ie joiners have loads of power tools but check as they are as cheap over there

You can take in a tool box as luggage needs to be new but you can do it

Thanks have 55 point and have applied for state sponsorship online but not heard for 2 weeks anything yet .As wa are not really processing at the moment .I made the mistake off going the 489 route which is temp visa when you apply to western austraila for state sponsorship it is for only one visa at a time at a cost of 200 dollars unlike ticking the visas in the EIO this seems to mean I will need to apply for 190 western austraila separately at a cost again then?

Hi we have applied for a 489 visa with western Australia as we have 60 points we really want the 190 visa but sit at 55 points do you think I can apply for 190 at this point as if we get state sponsorship will that give us extra points do you have to apply for every visa state sponsorship separately? many thanks

As the members have said I'm afraid there is a fair bit to the process and time it has taken about a year for us
