Each to their own , I live on a golf course but don’t play have no intention of either , just enjoy the quality of landscape the local wildlife and club facilities here. oh and the cellar doors 2 min away

Just been watching the comedy series Benidorm, it’s funny in parts and also cringe worthy in parts, not my idea of a holiday to be honest even at 18, I was 32 before going abroad for a weeks holiday in skiathos

Should do your own We have mint growing in garden , great to pop outside pick some ad chop up add some vinegar and sugar, spot on with lamb

No I don’t think I could cope with it now ( been here in Oz 11 years now) nothing beats the sun on your back , far easier to cool down in work than get warm when chilled to the bone.

It gets cool at night here in the Hunter with the odd frost but always warms up to around 17/18 in winter , I certainly don’t miss working in 1-2 degrees all day or sleet and rain.

When I extended our home in uk I extended kitchen and also added a laundry room (utility room in uk) put boiler and washing machine in there also broom cupboard in there.

Really? nice not having the inconvenience of a wall ruined with a radiator.

I stream uk stations via Bluetooth when driving to and from work , also DAB has a lot more choice.

I remember getting one on a trip back to uk at local shopping Center I think from costa , one sip and down the plug hole absolutely disgusting .

It would depend on a the 100 people, the problem on here it always turns into Australia v Uk or vis versa with certain posters bashing the country they don’t like and must be taken as gospel no other opinion counts , as said we all have different likes and dislikes, it gets boring. -
Again personal choice some prefer Manchester some prefer Melbourne, life is not one size fits all.
