Hi all My husband has just sat his IELTS and we have just started the skills assessment, but would love to be sponsored Any Diesel Mechanic sponsors out there??????

Just about to get the ball rolling (at last) and submit our EOI, booking my husbands english test for next month and then go to get his skills assessed, were very confused with all this so really need help please? How long will it take and how much will it cost? as im guessing we cant submit the EOI until we get all the information back???? Also does anyone know how level 2 city & guilds as a Mechanic will transfer?? Will that level be accepted or not? PLEASE HELP HAHA thanks xxx

Could someone please give me a rough cost of the following so we know what to budget for if we dont get a sponsored job. Transferring qualifications & driving licences? Visas? Medicals? Police checks? Flights for 2 adults & 1 infant? Dog? Few boxes of personal possessions? Money for first few months if unemployed for rent, car, food etc? and anything else i have forgot. thanks xxx

No it is not on the sol but that doesnt matter as we are entering on my husbands trade and are going down the sponsored route anyway. We will actually be far better off in Australia than we are here on Army wages and have the lifestyle we want. We are a young family yes and that is why we are emigrating to make the most of our lives and do what is best for our daughter. xx

Hello By the time we move to Oz i should be a NVQ Level 2 qualified beautician, does anybody know if i will get work in Oz as a level 2 or would i need NVQ3 or to do more study in oz? Thankyou

Thankyou for that, its a diffult one as need to save the most money but like you a lot of our stuff is secondhand here anyway so could just sell that this end and rebuy secondhand in oz and have new stuff again we could then just ship photographs, clothes and kids toys just need to find out cost for those though. xxx

How much money will we need for myself, my husband and our little girl to emigrate? inc flights, visas, health checks etc etc + i know itl already be around £2000/£3000 for our dog. Thankyou :biggrin:
