  1. We are already in Australia on 457 visa. At the time of processing this visa (respectively last year) I was asked to provide parental consent from my ex in order to have visa granted for my children (Form 1229), which I did. Question: BY THE THE TIME OF APPLICATION FOR PERMANENT RESIDENCY (probably next year), WILL I NEED A FRESH CONSENT OR THE ORIGINAL OLD ONE WILL SUFFICE? Thanks for reading and answers, if any.
  2. Good point!...thumbs us!
  3.:no:.....that bl**dy idiot deserves to be hanged up by the testicles....with the dog's lead...I think that the owners should be psychologically assessed before they get an animal ownership licence.
  4. Hi oz2014! I can't tell you for sure, but I presume that the registration does start at the time you get fully registered.....but I might be wrong, too. Regarding 457 visa, it has been demonstrated that there was a misunderstanding....the immigration agent thought I did not even apply for AHPRA and I have to come to Australia initially on a tourist visa, to start the application....bla-bla-bla....long story:chatterbox::arghh: However, Now everything is clear....thank God!!!!!.....and we've started the visa application already:jiggy: The modified ANMAC assessment can be done ONLY if you have the full registration....with eligibility you have to have the full assessment
  5. Sorry if it's a bit off topic...I couldn't find a better thread for my questions.....I already have my eligibility for registration letter, that states that I only have to get to Australia, pop into one of AHPRA offices, show them my visa and proof of Australian residential address....no other documentation required Question: Is the eligibility for registration enough for a sponsorship visa?.....does DIAC accept only this or I have to come to Australia on a different visa, complete the registration and get the reg no, leave Australia, eventually commence sponsorship visa procedure? Anyone in similar/identical situation?....Thanks!
  6. I've got my eligibility for registration approval/letter on the 18th of January 2013.....registration not completed yet, as i have to arrive in Australia....all fees were paid on application (last year, in October), including the annual fee.....the 31st of May 2013 was the last day of renewal, with an extension of one month, so up to the end of June....QUESTION: if I am not fully registered yet, do I have to pay another annual fee or this will be due only by the 31.05.2014?....anyone having the same dilemma?.....I called AHPRA and they weren't clear....just mumbling something ....I, also wrote to them, making the inquiry....no answer ......any advice much appreciated!
  7. I am interested...I have already emailed to you to admin@bestjobsinoz.co.uk.....Looking forward to hearing from you. Have a great week-end!
  8. Does a nurse still need an ANMAC assessment even though she/he has AHPRA registration?
  9. I am a 40 years old nurse and I already have the letter for registration eligibility issued by AHPRA. It seems that 457 visa path is not that easy, so I started considering different options. I was thinking about submitting my Expression of interest, looking for a State sponsorship....If I have the AHPRA assessment and eligibility, do I still need the ANMAC assessment? Thanking you.
  10. "Does Ielts only last for two years? If this is the case does that mean it will expire in April 2013 and therefore I have to do it again for registration purposes??" Hi midwife2005, As far as I know, you do not need to take the exam again once you can prove that you've been in a continuous English speaking environment employment during these 2 years....I might be wrong, but I'm in doubt...anyway, please post the AHPRA answer if you are going to make this inquiry...it could be useful for others being in the same boat...thx and best of luck!
  11. I found this one as being very good http://www.ielts-blog.com/online-practice............ loads of ideas...extremely helpful when it comes to essays:err::arghh:....I marked an overall 7.5 Academic, with 7 in Listening and Reading, 7.5 in Writing and 8 in Speaking, from the first attempt and I'm not a native speaker ....it is pretty difficult, but not impossible.....and from my point of view, completely irrelevant...you'll make it:yes::smile:....best of luck!
