we used Doree Bonner and i know they have a branch in Scotland. You can a current rate of their website. I know from shipping in the past that freight rates change around easter but normally not by much.

It is mormally best to pack directly into a carton. Also make sure that clothes are fully dry and not recently washed. Most times ok in plastic but if very slightly damp can cause issues. Also pack shoes all together on one place as these will get picked by quarantine. Hope this helps

normally a 20ft including door to door will be around £5200. The prices we got varied only by about £300, but does depend on where in the uK you are moving from. We had prices from Doree Bonner, Anglo Pac and Excess . we went with Doree Bonner who gave a better insurance rate

Hi Hayley...main thing is they are a FIDi member as it gives a financial guarentee although like you not been much discussion on here. We went with Doree Bonner but had 3 similar quotes. We checked out using their on line price first and then had 3 round.

The moving company can collect from both addresses and would normally wrap and pack, or check packing . list etc, We used Doree Bonner and found them helpful and in fact we had 3 different collection points. Hope this helps

The conatiner in Australia has to go into an agents store so will actually be held there rather than on the quay side so they could hold free in agents warehouse if they really want to. Best of luck sounds like a disaster all the way
