  1. I applied for my 190 visa on Feb 5th and got my grant on 8th March(as women's day gift this year ) I too uploaded all the docs including pcc and meds before CO was allocated. So I did not get any notification for CO allocation and directly got the grant
  2. My friend is about to start the process. He has 10 years and 4 months of experience in IT industry. How many points he will get for work experience? Thanks.
  3. If you occupation cap level is not reached for the program year, you will get invitation right away when a state sponsors you
  4. What about people doing the same in other countries??
  5. Generally we don't go through all the security checks and we get visa within weeks. So I assumed India is low risk country. Anyways thanks for the link
  6. Valid for 5 years. But you have to make your first move within 12 months of your PCC or medicals date whichever is earlier.
  7. It might have wrongly triggered. You may get a valid email for CO allocation. Not in this way.
  8. If you have uploaded all the required documents, you may directly get the grant notice. I got mine so. Check all your documents exept medicals in received status. If not upload them again.
  9. For assessing authority, it does not matter whether you are main applicant or secondary. It's just skills assessment. Thats all. So you should pay exactly same cost.

    English test

http://www.immi.gov.au/allforms/booklets/1119.pdf This is the complete guidance for points based test. There is a self assessment form in 18th page. Do one round of assessment and plan accordingly. 8 band in each component in IELTS will get you 20 points. If you have state sponsorship you will get 5 points for it.
  11. I applied for 190. I got my grant on 5th week. But you cant predict based on others experiences. I know a guy who lodged few days before me got his grant 1 month later from mine.
  12. Yes. When you get your invitation this score doesn't matter. If your case is clear, grant is assured.
  13. Pls go through this link. You can get all the details. http://www.immi.gov.au/skills/skillselect/index/visas/subclass-186/
  14. CO allocation time for 189 is within 10 weeks of lodgement and visa processing time is 1 year.
  15. It's purely my assumption. It may or may not be true When you lodge your application, it will be put into any CO's queue based on their applications in hand. When he/she completes one assessment, she will start next from her queue. If an applicant makes any delay in providing data/docs, other applicants process will get delayed. It's totally based on your luck to get into process quickly.
  16. Amit, for 189 time frame for CO allocation is 10 weeks and proceesing time is 1 year. But it's not taking that much time though. As far as I have seen, it takes less than 3 months for 189. CO will contact you if she/he needs any document or data. Otherwise you will get grant notification directly. In my case I have uploaded all the documents including meds and PCC as soon as I lodged my application. I haven't got any communication regarding CO allocation and directly got the grant. So dont worry. Wait patiently. You may wake up reading the good news some day

    YES!!!!

Congrats.. All the best for your move..
  18. You can't predict based on the team. It depends on the officer and how fast you provide the required documents.
  19. You are not eligible if you have 50 points. You need minimum 55 points to apply.
  20. I don't think ACS and State calculate post qualification work experience only. I saw some people faced the same issue. I would suggest you to check with any other MARA agent.
  21. Currently they are processing late November applications. You need to wait for sometime to get acknowledgement.
  22. "evidence of a trade, diploma or higher qualification awarded by an institution in or outside Australia which involved at least two years of full-time study and all instruction was in English" - This is stated in DIAC's website. Pls refer this link for more details. http://www.immi.gov.au/skills/skillselect/index/functional-english/ I was recently granted my PR visa. I submitted such a letter from my husband's university for his functional English proof. My CO accepted it and she did not ask anything else.
