  1. Congratulations Fraborg01 in getting a positive email. As I started this thread over 2 weeks ago, my OH finally got her email this morning after just over 16 weeks .................and it said........................... 'We require MORE documents' Arghhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!! The reference you have provided is suitable, however we need more details regarding the dates of employment and hours worked. She has only had one employer and so I have sent them a copy of her statement of service that we sent to AHPRA which they said was ok, that has her dates and hours on it. Fingers crossed. :-) Do I remember reading somewhere that you can only claim years of service where your hours are more than 20 hours per week? And does anybody know if this paperwork will go back in the queue for another 16 weeks? God I hope not!! :-)
  2. Hi, for anybody that's waiting on ANMAC re having their skills assessed, my OH has received an email to say that they are still processing Aprils applications and that the lead time is now 16 weeks. As we've already waited 14 weeks, what's another 2 weeks!
  3. Hi gbuss, all changed 1st July 2013. Here is the link. http://www.migration.wa.gov.au/skilledmigration/Pages/HowtoapplyforStateSponsorship.aspx
  4. I think it depends on whether your job is on the SOL or CSOL and what the requirements are like in each state. I'm sure someone has already posted that it only takes days for them to nominate you. Sorry I can't be more specific but well done in finally applying and here's hoping you hear soon.
  5. Personally speaking, I think what you did was extremely helpful and I would hope that Alan's reply does not put you off helping more people in the future. This forum needs people like you, as applying to organisations like AHPRA and ANMAC can be extremely daunting. Please, please keep up the good work.
  6. Hi Ali, Unfortunately it says the letter of eligibility from AHPRA is not sufficient so I was trying to see if anyone had gone through the same process recently. Thanks for your quick reply.. :-)
  7. Hi, my OH (midwife) is very close to receiving her letter of eligibility from AHPRA. She is a little confused re. having her skills assessed by ANMAC. Does she need a Full assessment or just a modified assessment? The way it reads, it would appear, is that you must be in Oz and fully registered before a modified assessment is sufficient?? Thanks for your help.
