I hope you guys hear from ACT this week. The waiting game is so difficult. I have the first part of my medical tomorrow. Im also trying to upload documents but the the site is down for maintance all the time but have managed almost all the documents. I plan a holiday there next spring and hopefully meet with some recruitment agencies but the final move will most likely first be 2014. It has been a life long dream so one more year is okay.

Hi, I haven't heard from skillselect yet and tried calling them but after 30 minutes wait I hang up - Do any of you have an email or phone no to DIAC? I choose ACT because of the job oppotunities for me as a careers counsellor or recruitment consultant plus off course ACT had my occupation on their life. I'm actually Danish and live in Copenhagen, after 3½ years in Bath, England so hope its okay Im here :-) Weather and the nature is also perfect for me in Canberra, cold and hot weather with loads of sunshine

Hi, I have received my ss from ACT but they cant invite me for some techical error. So they said I had to write to DIAC, which I have. Hopefully they will answer me tomorrow. Case Officer wrote I should not be worried but am finding it difficult. Lets see if I get an email tomorrow, fingers crossed :-) It took 27 working days for me to receive SS from ACT. I will let you know what happens

Hi guys, Major problems!!! ACT wrote to me they could not find me on skillselect for the invite and then they did find me but not with 190 visa. I made the EOI with 187 and 190. I work as a careers counsellor which is on the CSOL 2 list but now I cant choose careers counsellor with visa 190 - it is still on the list. I wrote to support for skillsselect and back to ACT but any ideas from you guys would be great??? - Have I missed something about the CSOL 2

Hi, I have applied for SS with ACT and only have 55 point and my occupation careers counsellor were limited. But got the email saying I can apply for SS so I did. Gotta try :-) Been waiting for a month now, about 23 working days.

Hi Guys, I received an email this morning: " Current processing times are taking longer than 20 working days due to a backlog of applications which occurred whilst the new website and online application system was being developed. We are hoping that the processing time will slowly reduce over the next month or so." Thought you would like to know...

Hi I applied end of july. 2 August I received an email. That my payment had been received and I would hear back within 20 working days. Hope to hear soon.

Hi, I was wondering if anybody have received state sponsorship? Im waiting to hear back from them, in a email from 1 August they wrote I would get an answer within 20 working days from ACT.

Hi, I also got the apply now option on 187 visa but has not been contacted by any company or state/teritory. Am confused too, keep checking emails...

Hi guys, I'm wondering if you can help me. I have filled out the EOI and choose careers counsellor as my occupation which is on the CSOL but at the end in skillsselect it says my occupation in not on that nominated list so am a bit confused, tried with both 190 and 489. Any thoughts? Cheers Annette
