It would be much easier for me to say I didn't work there for 2 months and had time off, but i didn't

its what the DIBP have asked for on the checklist for further information. i've provided 8 of the 10. One of them was for a mizley 2 months before it shut down. The other was back in 2007.

hiya guys, in need of a little help I've managed to provide employment history for 8 out of the 10 jobs in the last X years. But I received an email to provide further employment history on the other 2. The tax records i submitted shows it for one, but strangely enough not the other ( very short period at that job ) but it looks like theyre after evidence for job titles. payslips i've submitted doesn't say job titles or anything These places shut down along time ago (2007) Anyone else been in this situation? any advice would be appreciated Kind Regards Luke

how annoying... received an email in writing that they've received my documents (additional documents) thought it was going to be a decision, not a confirmation of receiving documents 2 weeks later. does that mean theyre looking at my file . my heart went when i got my Email to Sms text ahhhhhh

that sucks Daran, get them to remark it again in a nice email. I wouldn't be happy that it went down 9 points, its as though each marker has its own marking criteria. I took 3 tests too, my writing score decreased over the three, I wonder whether it was me being over confident, writing more than I should, leading to more punctuation mistakes... etc

Am not too sure about that Verystormy, vetassess is very confusing. Take mine for instance, Chef, same criteria to be met. I never went to college for it, they know that, and yet they asked for employment history for 5 years. whos to say when i was classed as an apprentice, at what stage, when was i not an apprentice? have I always been an apprentice? etc

Hiya Mark I think for your son to get PR or 457, he'll need to get his skills assessed by vetassess, they usually require 5 years experience. Vetassess " In Stage 1 we will review your training and employment evidence to determine whether you meet Australian trade requirements. Your evidence must show you have at least 5 years' experience in your occupation at the skill level required. This may include time spent in training. Your evidence must show you have worked in your occupation in the last 3 years and must be able to be verified " that could be done in a couple of months. lets say he gets that all done within the first 6 months of his working holiday visa, and the place you mentioned wants to sponsor him, he could submit his visa, work there on a bridging visa and wait for approval. or apply PR 189 / 190 as soon as vetassess and ielts is done (if you need points) get medicals done, police checks, form 80, front load it all. Jump on a bridging visa, work anywhere till its approved, then work anywhere when its approved. I could be jumping the gun here, if anyone would like to confirm or correct me..... but very possible if your sons on the ball

Anyone got any guesstimates after sending additional documents on employment evidence history. initially Front loaded all documents in January. They requested further employment history other week, so i seem to believe they've gone through everything else.

Alcon38 Ielts and Pearson PTE-A are both $330. Your looking at a month turn around from booking a test, taking the test and getting the results in ielts. Pearson for me was 1 week wait and I got results back same day as test (late at night). Took ielts twice, both 2 weeks wait to take test for me, then standard 2 week wait for results

you got any trust worthy friends in the UK with a bank account, I recommend P2P money transfers for best rates. I know you dont have a UK account, but i just transfered money from my ozzy bank to UK via currencyfair and got a very decent rate, very quick too

Just throwing an idea out here, Usually connecting flights are at Dubai, Singapore, Bangkok. I've been asked if i've wanted my connecting flight a day later before at no extra cost, could be a option if you want to break up a return journey to australia non stop, and hotels in Thailand are pretty cheap compared to australia, but then again Airbnb is also competitive. I'd stay in oz for a couple of days myself congratulations by the way!!!!

Just had contact for the first time asking for more documents, maybe you guys can help they've asked for 1. Police clearance certificate - 'No Live Trace' result 2. Further evidence of employment 1. I have already send them an Australian police check and a UK police check which clearly says No live trace on the document and I can see its there, uploaded on their system. I've sent them an email saying can they not see it? Shall I send it again? or have I got the wrong one ? 2. Further evidence of employment is a little bit of a sticky one, so any help is appreciated. I sent every bankstatment to them for the last 12 years, All my payslips went to vetassess and never came back, but still they wouldn't have my role on there. Ive been asked for evidence in "roles" in 10 of my jobs in which 3 are completely shut down and all the others do not have anything on their system past 3 years what can I do about the closed down ones? and the ones I cant get information from them as its past the 3 year mark Any advice appreciated Kind regards Luke PS: I'm a Chef

note: somewhere on the ielts vs Pte thread, someone took like 5 ielts test and failed to get 20 points, but they did PTE and got the 20 points first time and he wasnt even a native speaker!! Ive done both and i think the PTE is far easier, as long as you look at the structure of the test before hand

Hey E2306 i had the same problem.... go to immi login then your application, left side, attach more documents, in the drop down scroll all the way down to Form80 and attach it there.
