  1. I'm just baffled, allocation dates for 189 is now on 10th of June.
  2. @Charlottehill76 Awesome news!! It must have been the power of mentioning you on here this morning go celebrate it looks like its just us three left @GarrySingh @thelostcrab
  3. Congrats @Bradburns !!! bet you're excited @thelostcrab It'll happen soon! I dont like to say hope. Lets say it will! I look at it far too much, anaylising everything! and i bet they're on the otherside playing raffle out of a hat. anyways, bit more info, 189 Allocation dates for General Skilled Migration applications via https://www.border.gov.au/Trav/Work/Work/Allocation-dates-for-General-Skilled-Migration-applications Has jumped from 6th March, (before they stopped issuing them for the month June) to now the 25th May, which I think is passed everyone's last "responded to CO date" So they must have been busy over the month. Edit:: In fact it is, its one day passed @Charlottehill76 24th May, I'm sure she'll be happy. @GarrySingh 12th Feb @thelostcrab 30th March @lukescotty 12th April @Charlottehill76 24th May Has @GarrySingh heard anything? hes way over due?
  4. well that was disappointing, 4 grants on myimmitracker, compared to 81 last year, I put it down to it, being a Friday and that they'll start on Monday properly.
  5. July is here, hopefully they'll resume handing that golden ticket out, from today keep us posted guys
  6. Looks like your agent is right @thelostcrab thought i'd do a little bit of speculation from last years grants. It was this time last year (today) that the grants stopped for the month. They resumed on the 1st july and in the first week 81 grants, second week saw 31 grants, and the third week had 16 grants. I hope all the migration officers are working hard to get through peoples files ready to be granted bring on the 1st july!!
  7. hey fellow waiting friends Still no news on my end either. Seems to be really quiet everywhere, none of the other 'Month' applicant threads are popping up. the overall grants per week have dropped significantly (hardly anyone is from the UK on that site anyway but still) guess we just keep on waiting....
  8. Majority are 'general' but you'll need to check, because some 189 occupations require academic ielts, check it against the occupation code you're going for
  9. forgot to ask, what are your Centre locations. I've been told that it doesn't matter whether your at Brisbane or Adelaide as it works a one whole unit. But I can't help seeing that the Brisbane grant dates from "date responded to CO" are behind Adelaide's by a month-ish. I'm going off the majority as theres a few which stick out @GarrySingh 12th Feb @thelostcrab 30th March @lukescotty 12th April - Brisbane @Charlottehill76 24th May cheers
  10. hey guys, I read this today, wondered what visa allows extra point for having family members already in Australia? I've submitted 189 start of this year, have I missed a trick? "For example, being aged 25-32 earns 30 points; anyone 33-39 accrues 25. But for those aged 45-plus, it’s nil. Having a family member in Australia earns points; proficiency in English is worth another 10, while ‘superiority’ in English gets you 20 points. A bachelor degree is worth 15 points, a doctorate 20, and so on. 11. correct me if i'm wrong, but when people go for 190 they presume they have to live and work in that state... they can live where they want. Subclass 489 Provisional Pr has conditions that you must work in a region. go for the 190 if you have the required points IMO
  12. Awesome News!! Kenfrapin, bet your well excited..... get packing @GarrySingh 12th Feb @thelostcrab 30th March @lukescotty 12th April @Charlottehill76 24th May Garry Youre Next!!!
  13. @Kenfrapin 8th Feb @GarrySingh 12th Feb @thelostcrab 30th March @Charlottehill76 24th May @lukescotty 12th April Cheers Guys, see if there's a pattern in the upcoming weeks... I just don't think there is one anymore
  14. @louloubelle was that 12 weeks since last document submission to CO or 12weeks from start to finish ? cheers
  15. still a few of us!! unless they've not updated us Myself @Kenfrapin @GarrySingh @Priscilla101 @thelostcrab @Charlottehill76 I only went back ten pages.... I got distracted by @Priscilla101 's responses to people's "just been granted" messages, they're hilarious!!! clearly boasting in the January thread because they've got no one to tell. Would be good to get a date from each of you, of last submission of documents to CO... see if we can see a pattern. My Last submitted document was on the 12th April (a couple of documents for employment history) .. ....
  16. they could be on the last pages of your application, or they might not have even started looking at it. Lets hope they're on the last pages... getting ready to press that button and update you. I'm January 2nd if that makes you feel any better
  17. Appeal it dude!! my speaking was the lowest on the PTE too (still a pass) but my Ielts speaking was 9.0. Maybe they'll manually mark it rather than this computer marking, (which I didnt know about) maybe your headset was screwed and the mic was set too quiet, or distorted.
  18. hiya, mine took a day to come through.
  19. she means..... shes missed it and the EOI has expired. I had 2 EOI accounts when I lodged mine. I can't log into one of them because its expired... I'd move to a different migration lawyer, just for peace of mind. She should be looking at myimmitracker and estimating EOI invitations. If it took her 5 months to query it (that's after you brought it to her attention) What's she going to be like with the rest of the application when you have short periods of time to submit further documents.
  20. @febin42 your posting in a thread for January applicants. Does this really look like a thread for vetassess and electrician queries ????? I'm Fed up of people bring this thread up for questions not relating to January Applicants... Find the answer by searching and reading through other threads! There is alot of information on this website and there is also alot of people who are lazy and want answers given to them. >>>>>>>>>>>>>> JANUARY 2016 - 189 VISA APPLICANTS <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<
  21. isn't all your evidence originally in jpeg before you compiled them to a PDF? theres a few pdf to jpg converters free online you could use... how many pages you do have... am guessing alot?
  22. wow, thats pants!! what about submitting another EOI yourself so you can track it, then if that ones comes before the current one... then pass it onto your agent...? not too sure whether they'd be any complications one person submitted theirs end of December, got EOI in 11 days. One submitted in march and got theirs in 24 days.... this is for the same occupation too..... and 60 points.
  23. @GarrySingh I've pull this from another forum, hope this helps "The letters DLM = Sensitive are intented for their mailing system to mark the letter as sensitive. This implies that the mail contains personal information and identifiers including names or addresses and/ or passport numbers etc - some information that identifies you and if in the wrong hands may be misused. It is part of DIAC to proect to information as sentive and marking emails as such is part of that effort."
  24. @Ben P i think you've posted in the wrong thread?? the march applicants are in this one http://www.pomsinoz.com/forum/migration-issues/247340-march-2016-189-applicants.html
  25. would be nice for them to specify their structure in more detail. I'm a 2nd Jan Applicant (paid for visa 8th December)... but am i really?? since I've provided further information 2 extra times for "employment history" last information i sent was 5 weeks ago, do you reckon i'm now an April applicant...... I wonder if I go to the back of the queue. It must be, seen as there up to 9 March 2016, but even when they was up to January 2nd (at the time) i didn't hear from them until at least 3 weeks after. I've gone passed the point of caring so much and it'll come when it comes. but my only frustration is looking at immi tracker and seeing these so called 'high risk countries' submitted their visa on eg: 17/04/16 getting a co response on 28/04/16, responding back on the 17/05/16 and getting granted two day later.
