she came back to me with the following info: skillselect have said your invitation was sent out on the 18th of December! As soon as we had lodged! I have asked them to show evidence that an invitiation was actually sent to either of us and am waiting to see the evidence. I have had other invitations before and after yours successfully received. I get notified by email and in immiaccount usually and neither received an invitation so there was certainly an error in their system. we can lodge again now knowing you will likely get an invite in next week or two. I will be writing to immigration with your visa application asking for a fast track if possible since you lost 5 months due to a computer error. I am still going to be chasing them for information as to what happened!!! Pls let me know how you would like to proceed. I can prep and do a new EOI now. I didn’t realise this was even a possibility of happening so I apologuise for not chasing it when you originally emailed a week or so ago. I have never known this to happen before, only to a colleague when she told me today. and I lodged another EOI today. Really disappointed. The eoi was submitted correctly as I checked it. She provide me the password of my previous account but she said "its not going to work now as new one lodged". I think this is more probable that she did nt do her job properly rather than a problem with immi's system issue. the latter sounds odd. But what can be an intention for her to fob me?

Thanks Bungo, She is a registered MARN lawyer. I have not access to the account myself. I denoted the issue (the immi tracker) to her this morning. She emailed me that she could nt find anyone to talk on phone but they gay her an email add and she emailed them my issue with all relevant docs. This is what she wrote to me this morning. I can’t get anyone on the phone to talk to but they gave me an email and I have emailed them with urgent all over it. I rang a colleague to ask their thoughts. They said they have another that has been pending since august last year. She also said she has had a client in the past subjected to a glitch and the EOI was lost. Immigration subsequently fast tracked them as it was their error. I am hoping that is not the case with yours. We received all of the confirmations it was lodged successfully but I don’t have an answer for you yet as to why no invitation has been offered. Hoping to hear back from them today. They are usually pretty fast but might need to investigate? Thanks and regards, Mimo

Gday, I have submitted my eoi with folowing info 1. ANZSCO code: 233214 2. Occupation: Structural Engineer 3. Points score: 65 4. Date of submission of the 189 visa EOI*: 17/Dec/2015 and I am still waiting (over 5 months) for an invitation. Does anyone have an idea what could be the reason? I checked the occupation ceiling (civil eng. occ 2332) and it is not full. One of my friends (civil eng. got his invitation on May 11 only after 4w from eoi submission. EOI is ok and submitted by a MARN agent. Sorry for making a new thread since the relevant one was closed. Cheers, Mimo
