Aghh I've read the thread wrong, thought they was on about witness signing.

I really advise that you don't go to any solicitor to get them to sign it, get it done at Australia house in London, After talking to someone there, if immi can't find that solicitor on the list, it's going to get rejected straight up, and I'm pretty sure They have to be registered on the Australian list.

January 2016 - 189 visa applicants

it'll come eventually Charlotte keep in there. I Still haven't heard anything from mine for 5 weeks since last document upload. I'm half expecting a 4th "more information needed" because the last 3 emails from them were . I cant be 100% sure but some where down the line, i've been told you don't get assigned a case officer anymore. You're application gets put through a production line of case officers (to stop people from rejecting applicants because their having a bad day at work) and that it doesn't matter whether it says Brisbane or Adelaide as it acts as one. Hence why the first time.... to the 3 document requests, have been sent from a different case officer each time. Application submitted on 2nd Jan, front loaded -
hi, >>at a guess/educational guess<< (i could be wrong) but they've already fulfilled 5020 of 5364 of the ceiling cap for "2613" it doesn't state whether its /11 /12 or /13 so you cant tell whether the ceiling cap has been hit for each individual one. https://www.border.gov.au/Busi/Empl/skillselect hope this helps, im no migration expert btw

whats frustrating is people jumping on the January applicant thread.................... -
like west49th mentioned. go to Australia House, £11 per signing. Its located via the passport entrance at the back. Ive been twice in the last month. Press the buzzer, wait for him to let you in. Make it easier for yourself and put everything inside your bag before getting scanned. Its nice and quick. remember its only open for witness signing for 2 hours. 9:30 to 11:30

Make use of the white board and pen, especially to write down key words, to explain "what is going on in this conversation" They really do ramble on. get good at memorising sentences to repeat them back Its weird talking to a computer screen i don't think there's spell check on the writing (typing) They'll start you off on some right easy stuff, then hit you with a hard "memorise this sentence and say it back" hope this helps got my results back same night (brisbane)

You should be hearing from them soon, it's 79 days. You could get your form80 done, it's a nice 18 page form to fill in, a lot of people have been asked for it. I've constructed a response time graph https://goo.gl/cjKjJS showing how long it's taken for a response, check it out, someone's took over 100 days, but you can see most are half the wait time you've already waited for. Someone on here might have some advice for you. -

for anyone wondering what response times are for 189 visa grants and request for more information, i've complied a chart together https://goo.gl/cjKjJS thread for this chart is at : http://www.pomsinoz.com/forum/migration-issues/247371-189-visa-response-times-into-graph-any-communication.html -
not familiar with direct grants.. but do they literally send the grant through without sending you a list/assign Co, as you'd already uploaded everything they needed, is that correct? 26 day response time  just checking you informed them of all the submitted documents after you uploaded the Med on 14/03/16 ? 29 days turn around if so Thank you guys!

I think the correct button is name "information provided" pops back up every time the CO asks for more information and when the CO is assigned. -

was the additional information requested or did you send it off? i waited 7 weeks after my first request for information I wouldn't check your emails till, sunday midnight on wards.... its the weekend -
Hiya guys I was thinking of collating everyone's response times into a graph from January 16 to current. I'm classing a 'response' as an email/correspondent after you press that 'submit' button for 'information provided' to a response from the CO. whether it'd be more asking for more information or a grant. Eg Jan 3rd Co asks for form 80 > Jan 8th Uploaded form 80 > Jan 15th asked for further employment history...... So the response time would be 1 week, as you uploaded the after 5 days and got a 'Response' in 7 days. Please fire away with the information!! Please try and keep into 2016 as there could be lots of information. Added info: This is the Chart so far https://goo.gl/cjKjJS - let me know if you think its clear enough.. or something needs adding Please continue to add your response times
