  1. Hi All, I have applied for a 189 Independent VISA on 9th March 2016 and I have been assigned a case officer on the 7th of April 2016. The case officer had asked me to attach few more documents and the medical of my wife. I sent all the required documents and had put a query about my wife's medicals on the same day. I havent heard back from the case officer yet on the query. Isnt it too late for them to respond? Is it ok to email them again asking to respond? What is the normal waiting time for the case officer to respond to any queries. I am quite impatient now.
  2. Hello All, Seeking suggestions and ideas on my case. I have been invited for 189 Independent Skilled Migration and I am waiting for a case officer to be assigned. My case is a little different, My wife is 21 weeks pregnant now and she hasn't done the medicals under HAP id yet. I am through with everything. Its generally not recommended that pregnant women do Xrays and we too arent willing to do it. But around 4 months back my wife was having hayfever which caused her intense coughing. Our GP recommended doing Chest Xray and something was seen in her chest and our GP sent us to the TB Centre. The TB Centre took all the tests and did one more Chest Xray and gave us a letter saying no TB nothing at all. Now my concern is since she has done enough Xrays and we have all the reports and with a supporting letter from the TB Centre, Department of Health, can by any chance the CXRay in the medicals requirement of my Wife be waived and only other tests could be done... Please share any similar cases you had.. Thanks Sagar
  3. I have already called the clinic mate.. They wont do any alterations to the medical until they have any instructions from the immigration. I have actually emailed my case officer too about the validity of those xrays, they havent got back to me from over a month now..
  4. Its exactly the same place where we did Xrays and where the Australian Medicals are done. Im seeking some information from people who may have had similar cases and have a peace of mind. Thanks
