  1. I had my proof of no claims from the UK but didn't need it, just applied online and selected full no claims. I did have a phone call with the insurer just to confirm the usual no convictions etc no problems at all with the no claims discount.
  2. We got 40kgs per person with Singapore. I emailed them first to confirm and just showed my pr visa at check in.
  3. I've just completed a transfer with Moneycorp and I had to have a SWIFT code for my bank before they could do the transfer.
  4. I've always just disabled In-App purchases too, and do not have a bank account linked to my itunes account. Saves any of this worry.
  5. Current list as of 12/7/13 https://www.migration.sa.gov.au/snol_data Just read through it, not looking good for ICT this year.
  6. He is in Dorchester, I wasn't charged for it. I have just spoken with him regarding getting your documents certified and and he is happy to do this for you. I will PM you his contact details as I don't want him inundated with requests!
  7. I used a Justice of the Peace in Dorset. It helped that I work at the same place as him so it was all quite easy.
  8. You can migrate your Xbox Live account to a new region, see here: http://support.xbox.com/en-US/billing-and-subscriptions/account-management/change-region This should help in finding games.
  9. We are using them as well and also do not yet have a destination address. I was told by them that I could inform them of the address at a later date as I would be contacted at the other end to arrange a delivery time and could update delivery address then.
  10. With regard to resettlement funds, we submitted the total amount we would have at the time we will be moving rather than what we had at the time of application.
  11. Feels like there is always something trying to stop you getting to Aus! Just have to keep persevering with it, will make the feeling of getting there all that more rewarding. Can't wait for the next 5 months to fly by now.
  12. Well just 3 things left to do: Sell House Give notice at work Book Flights! Hoping to be gone by august, thankfully I have just about finished painting the whole house. Typically the central heating water pump packed up this morning so just another thing to have to do but I'm in quite a good mood today now
  13. After all the headaches getting our medicals uploaded we have finally received our visa grant today!
  14. You'll have a date on your visa grant for when you must enter by, usually this is 12 months from when you had your Police Check/Medical. (Which ever was first)
  15. Yesterday I received this email from my agent: We have now heard back from Health Strategies, and they say 'This matter was resolved via a manual workaround, and health for xxx is now finalised within DIAC systems' We will let you know as soon as we hear anything further from your case officer. I rang the clinic to confirm from their end and they are still waiting to hear back from Health Strategies regarding the fault so not 100% convinced. The clinic did try and re-assure me that if the health had been finalised then that should be the issue resolved. Fingers crossed again I suppose. Watch this space....
  16. Thanks for the reply Bill, I see your point - not a clear explanation! Ah, as I type this I have just received an email from my agent saying: We have now heard back from Health Strategies, and they say 'This matter was resolved via a manual workaround, and health for xxx is now finalised within DIAC systems' We will let you know as soon as we hear anything further from your case officer. Fingers crossed as I have been told before that the issue has been resolved. Watch this space....
  17. Hi, Sorry to drag up an old thread but I am having a similar issue where my panel doctor is unable to upload one of our medicals due to a technical issue. I just wondered if the OP got to the bottom of their issue. The clinic have told me they are trying to resolve the issue with Health Strategies and my agent has contacted Health Ops but still no luck, this has been going on since 15/1/13 so it's starting to get on my nerves (to put it politely!!) Is there any other avenue I can try to get this resolved that anyone knows of?
  18. So it appears that there is an issue with one of our records which is preventing the clinic from uploading the final medical. They have apparently been in touch with tech support on the aussie side for the last few weeks but still not resolved!! Bloody typical that we get held up and there is nothing we can do about it.
  19. Thanks Gbuss, will do. Just checked on the DIAC site for my visa and the organise your health check link is still showing on the outstanding medical so I'm guessing they still haven't uploaded it.
  20. Thanks for the update, no phone call for me so I'll be chasing them again for an update in the morning.
  21. I guess I'm waiting for the same doc then! Fingers crossed mate.
  22. I chased up the clinic again today and they have told me that the issues with e-health have now been sorted out but they have to wait until Thursday for the doctor who saw us to upload the outstanding medical.... Progress I suppose but I will believe it when it actually happens. All this waiting is frustrating.
  23. We are using them now and would definitely recommend them. Very good experience and have helped us with every aspect of the visa process.
  24. Yes we were all booked in ok and all of our links worked fine. We had no issues with any of the process. I called them after a few weeks as I hadn't heard anything from CO and wanted to check that they had sent off the medicals ok and they told me that they were having technical issues uploading them and they had only successfully uploaded 1 of 4. This takes us to this wednsday just gone and they had still only uploaded 3 of 4. I will be chasing them again on Monday and still if they have finally been able to up-load the last one.
