  4. guess what another excavator thread. but on a serious note, has any excavator operators on this forum actually been sponsored by an australian company in the last year if so please come forward and post your views and comments in this thread wed like to hear from you cheers

  6. the sunshine coast is an amazing place to live, i live there for 5 months in maroochydore when i was on my working holiday visa. id much prefer it to the gold coast to be honest. .

  8. your right there joeb and more so now at the minute. the way there aint much work on over this side off the world
  9. id say your 100% right there keily, i know australia gets alot of excavator operators from ireland and the uk. i myself been over there for a year. excavator operators may never be on the list. the only way is just get on the phone and talk to as many companys as you can, send them your cv. ya never no ya might get lucky. but i dont think you are gonna see they jobs been advertised with sponsorship. theres always canada
  10. i dont think you will see to many companys if any advertising sponsorship for our line of work. i think it best to contact the companys, call em up send them your cv and see what happens
  11. i cant go over to the autumn time anyhow but yeh i think plant operators are on the list for the northern territory. i was speaking to an agent over her and he says thats the only place in australia he could get me in. at the min i dont want to push the issue because i simply cant go to the autumn. is yours signed and sealed stacey

  13. the mini diggers aint as smooth, they tend to be more jumpy
  14. excavators are much the same weggie, just bigger insize. i bet ya that any1 body that could handle a mini excavator would have no bother with a 100 ton machine. the actions are all the same. i think the same ticket applies to all excavator sizes

  16. thanks for the info guys, id like to try and come over again september, october time. i have my aussie excavator ticket. maybe i could arrange a few trials with a few companies and go over on a holiday visa
  17. is it still possible to get sponsored by a company for us excavator operators, or are we just dreaming, i wonder will things get better for excavator operators in the future. if anybody is in the no please share your comments

  19. i hope to, its harder for me to get sponsorship though been an excavator operator, i might just go back on a normal holiday visa and see what happens.

  21. good info stacey, i think i should send my cv to blue tongue, id be very interested, reguarding excavators, if you can operate a small 1 you would be able to operate a large 1, they are exactly the same, but i must admit, the bigger they are the more smother they seem to be. the small 1s can be jumpy
