I have previously worked for Laura Ashley in the UK and have gained a lot of experience working in sales from there. They are very strict on customer service so i believe i am strong in that field. Any help with current vacancies suitable for me would be greatly appreciated or if you are an employer please get in touch!!! I am here on a Working Holiday Visa so can only stay with an employer for 6 months, but might apply for Partner Visa eventually as my boyfriend has permanent residency and can apply for citizenship later this year (if that helps!!) Coming to Perth? Talented Football players wanted for 2009 season
Guest posted a topic in Western Australia
Ballajura AFC is a football (soccer) club based at Kingfisher Reserve in Ballajura, (in Perths northern suburbs), where it has its own clubroom, full bar and catering facilities. Established 15 years ago the club has a strong set up with several hundred juniors (up to under 16 level), a masters team , ladies team and a Senior team who have just been promoted to Amateur Division 1 for 2009. Also in 2008, the Senior reserves won their League and the under 16 team were top 4 champions. The club is ambitious and is targeting further success and promotion to the Amateur Premier League. In order to support this objective and to take the club forward Ballajura is conducting an active player recruitment drive before the 2009 season starts in late March. The club is seeking to recruit experienced senior amateur or ex semi pro players for addition to the first team squad. Ballajura is an ambitious and forward thinking club. We have already recruited a number of new migrant players last season who helped in the clubs successful promotion to division 1 If you feel you fit the requirements and are interested in taking on this challenge please contact me to discuss. Hi Guys, I'm just new to this forum so hoping I'm posting this in the right place. My hubby and I are seriously considering emmigrating to Australia; we have an 8 month old daughter and are hoping for a better lifestyle than the UK can offer. My husband is a hospital doctor in Transplant Surgery and hoping to get a fellowship out there. I'm a probation officer and have searched what feels like far and wide for info on UK probation officers working in Australia but have had little success. I don't think my husband will have too much trouble getting a job out there as our understanding is that hospital doctors are a wanted occupation but what about Probation Officers? Does anyone know how sought after they are? What areas are wanting them? And any ideas on what the salary out there is like? If anyone has any info at all I'd be really grateful. :spinny: Thanks in advance to anyone that can help!! Dnav

Hi, I've been avidly watching the Wanted Down Under series this week. Just want to know if anybody else thinks the same as me tho - the family on Wednesday programme were looking at WA, now they said at the beginning of the property search they had £180k to bring over and would like to buy without a mortgage, lets see what you get for your money. In the voiceover, Nadia whatsername says you can get 4bed family house in Rockingham area for around £200k. Now my ears prick up, coz we fancy that area, sounds a decent price, looking forward to this! WHY oh WHY then, do they show them houses (lovely as they were) for nothing under £260k????? Is it to make the programme look good, fancy newly renovated or new build houses, but what about us that live in the real world and want affordability??!!:arghh: Sorry about me ranting, its just i would really like to see what the average joe bloggs could really afford! By the way, im from yorkshire, got a pretty low mortgage here and we are (apparently) notorious for being tight with money here, so maybe that explains why im so peeved!! lol. :biglaugh:

We need a 3 bedroomed property (preferably modern) as we have viewed some which have been really old fasioned and I mean 'old' and horrible. We are obviously looking on the Real Estate website but wondered if anyone ones of anyone either moving on or someone renting out their house. Our container arrives and clears customs around the end of March so am looking from then. Any help would really be appreciated. Thanks.

Two teams .......with one goal..........to put an end to this North / South divide....... I have a proposal and that is we build two teams ,simlpy called SOR(blue) & NOR (red),its serious but at the same time friendly and fun,4 matches per yr, 2 SOR, 2 NOR....(subject to change)......Venues TBA......first game will be a trial ,maybe a couple of beers after the match ect ...... there will be NO violence no HARD tackling, contact yes but we all need to be able to work the day after, otherwise i may as well organize a boxing match !Any violence /fighting and that player/players will be kicked out and disgraced...:policeman: A referee would be good , probs someone who likes football but not up to it and still wants to be involved ect ...? Age...? Im a veteran,do we need 20 yr old whipper snippers ...? i think most on here are 30 + ..... You dont have to be a professional ect , its just a game ......... between 35/45 mins per half depending on number of players and the weather .. Matches to be played on a Sunday ,time TBA... Fly subs ,so we can all have a break if needed Keeper can be changed at any time ,as long as the referee has been informed first...!!! I will manage SOR for now ,NOR will need to sort your own out , SOR kick abouts ect will be arranged prior to matches so we can get familiar with each other ...... If your up for this get in touch on the thread ,im sure we all have a mate or two who would be interested if the forum cant get enough , i know i can if needed for SOR and probs one or two for NOR .............. This can work as ive done it before in the uk , two rival groups in my local use to play each other after a Sunday session in the local and that proved to be so popular that we formed an official Sunday league, was better than playing in the Wythenshawe league as nobody was out to break your legs ect ........ Feel free if you would like to add to this chaps....... Please dont turn this into a slanging thread its for football only .......

Does anyone know why there haven't been any episodes of families spending their week in Perth on the show? Wonder if it means not many people want to go to the other states which is why they are focusing on them more. I'm dying to see one of them in Perth. I remember seeing one last year of a lovely young family who ended up moving Down under and doing really really well. Oh well hopefully tomorrow will be the one
