I'm all for progress Laura George, I just spent the last 18 months training to be a midwife to gain a BSC Hons, in order to compliment the Diploma I have held for the last 14 years, in addition to the BSC HONS health visiting degree I also have held for the last ten years. I did this in order to meet the Australian requirements to register as a family child health nurse. It would now seem that my RGN qualification is worthless in Ahpras opinion, therefore probably unable to ever gain registration as intended. 14 years as a nurse with experience and qualifications in trauma care, community nursing, health visiting, sexual health/HIV counsellor, and midwifery............Bridging program? I don't think so!!!
