Hi AllI would really appreciate if you can guide me hereI am a Human Resource Professional with an experience of 5 years.Would be moving to Australia by end of this yearI would really like to know what kind of courses would help me for a start up in my job.I have an MBA in HR however,I assume that a knowledge on the Australian market is a must.Would a course in Employment Law would help me?I would be very much grateful if someone can throw me some insight as how I should prepare myself.Thank you much in advance for your kind replies....

Hi All We are planning to move end of next year hopefully.Our daughter would be turning 5 in December 2013 so I believe that she would be starting her prep in year 2014. When do I Enroll her for 2014?Can I get the enrollment forms once I reach there say October/November?or the forms need to be collected during a specified time period. Thank you in advance for your kind replies...

Its not a long term.Its an assignment from his current company & we have committed only 1 year from our side as our plan is to settle in Australia.OH is looking forward to it as he feels that his job prospects might increase in Aus if he takes up this assignment.

yipe its covering the relocation costs & its not a permanant move ( kind of assignment from his current company).Only OH went to Aus in April to secure a job before the family moved( he was on leave from his current company).

OH just got an offer from Singapore.Confusing because he has been in Aus for about a month & nothing has been materialized in the job front. On the other hand the Singapore job has prospects of him having transferred to Aus sometime in the future.OH says that it would be a boost for his career if he takes up this job(something in CRM). As usual,I am the one who is always left confused...Forgive me if I always appear to be like this...guess some people have the talent for fretting all the time...

Im so itching to give notice to my employer...(makes no sense surfing all the time at work ) After reading so many posts all my worries have been rested. I have no idea how my life is going to be but I am sure that its gonna be the best!!! C'mon no jobs,no house,no certain future.. turn around & take a walk... We are going to do it....

Hi All... By the grace of God v hav got the grant letter this morning...It was not an easy journey but v hav made it thru & yipe its not over yet...need to get a job & settle..but at least its a start . Its amazing how this forum has supported me...any doubt i hav just look in here & there lies the answer....its really nice that everyone shares their experiences here which is really helpful for others... our journey is as below Nov 10 - appointed agent Feb 11- RPL to ACS Apr 11 - ACS approved May 11 - IELTS June 11 - Visa lodged Dec 11 - CO appointed Medicals finalized - Jan 02 PCC & other documents submitted - Jan 04 Visa Grant - Jan 06,2012.... Now the job hunt begins..... Thank you one & all.... & All the best to those waiting for the CO & Visa grant...

Hi All Submitted all the required documents but now one glitch.Since we have been sponsored by my brother,the birth certificate have spelling mistakes of our Dad's(mine & bro's).So now the agent has asked for an affidavit from our Dad.Going crazy....
