That's great news! Sorry im a bit late but was out last night so just catching up. I'm sure if they want you they will wait fr you, a friend of mine was offered a job in Canada and they kept it open for about 6 months till they sorted themselves out with a visa so I'm sure you will find yourself in the same position. This is the next step on your new life ladder!! :wubclub:

We used the Medmigratin clinic and I could honestly say it was an enjoyable experience! Dr Smith was amazing, he made us feel so at ease and comfortable and was great with our 6 year old. He even uploaded her meds whilst we were sitting there and ours were both uploaded 2 days later. :wink:

My passport runs out next June so will need to get it renewed before we go for our reccie in Aug and then will have to tell the DIAC so they can update their records :arghh: so I think I might get the stamp in once I renew it. Does anyone know what happens if your passport is due or runs out while you are living in Oz? Can you just renew it in the sme way that you do here? Just cos my daughters only 6 and she just gets 5 year passports at the mo. :goofy:

Hi Tania I would say that yes you could become her legal custodian but you would probably need her parents permission to do this so if you dont think they will let her go it's a tough one. Good luck :wubclub:

I know we were in cat 5 for 2 years until July of this year when the rules changed. Hopefully you won't have to wait too much longer as it looks like they are getting through the other categories at quite a good speed! Fingers crossed for you :wubclub:

We had an agent so they contacted them who emailed us but I think people who didnt have agents got contacted by email also but not 100%
