Hopefully... there's a presentation here... http://www.immi.gov.au/gateways/agents/pdf/skilled-migration-update.pdf That say's... "Priority Group three (PG3): – Applications lodged in Australia before January 2011 have been allocated. – Applications lodged outside of Australia by the of end June 2011 we expect to have allocated all applications lodged before January 2011." And that's based on the old group 3... so means us in Group 4! :biggrin: x

Do they often come back to people on the job critieria then? My references from my employers were very vague... they just gave dates of my employment and job title, although I know they were supposed to give my 5 main tasks but standard job references don't usually do that. Is this something to worry about?

haha... my hubs is the same! But I'm way too impatient... I think we're going to compromise and I will book our meds in for November! I want to go to Oz nowwwwwww :smile:... But yes, ppl have been waiting way longer than us! I don't know how you all manage it!

Yay... them seem to be moving then... well done to those who got grants/CO's... I applied in April and I think I'm going to get my police and med checks done next month? I'm too excited to wait! Then fingers crossed, I can hope and pray for a direct grant!

Haha... yes we are too... I went on my gap year about 10 years ago and loved it! But my husband has never been and he's trusting my judgement completely! I hope he loves it as much as I do... and I hope I love it as much as I did 10 years ago! Would like to take him for a visit first, but there seems no point wasting the money if we're goint to move there in less than a year!
