I have promised not to phone or email till the day of the 5th month hits, then I'm not going to be able to help myself. are you in aus now?

We're making a fresh start in brisbane (i'm from sydney but the house prices make my eyes water). We are shipping a couple of boxes. We had planned to take everything, but have decided against it now. When I watched my little man smear cream cheese across my lovely chocolate brown cord sofa this morning, i knew we'd made the right decision!! :laugh: Fridays are my day off, I'm have a feeling i'm going to be on this forum a lot to keep insanity at bay!

I hope so. The send receive button on my email is getting a workout. My little one is having a nap at the moment, so I've too much time on my hands (completely ignoring the white elephant that is the washing). :huh: What part of aus are you returning to?

I think you get 12 months from the date of the medical & police check. We didnt frontload our medical as we didnt really know if you could or not, so we decided just to wait till they told us to go. We plan to leave within a month of an approval, so we werent too bothered about the dates of the police check. Have you already completed all the paperwork? :spinny:

Me too. Are you the Aussie or is your OH the aussie? I'm aussie and OH is scottish. I'm dying to get out of here too. Its snowing and its march!! lol. :goofy:Will be interesting to see what sort of timeline we both end up with considering we've sent the same thing on the same day. I'm terribly impatient to. I said to OH last night...do you think they'll email us tomorrow. He just laughed and said, forget about it till we hear. How can he be so calm? :laugh:

the taxes are the worst part! (typical). i really wanna fly singapore airlines, i still think they are the best. with emirates coming in a close second. flew cathay pacific last time i was out and whilst i love the fact noone can intrude on your seat in front, they do get uncomfortable. would love to fly business but i cant justify the cost!!:twitcy: have you already done your medical?

I know. It would appear we're looking at 5 months regardless of what we provided. Did you frontload? We frontloaded with Police/ character check, but not medicals...
