This seemed a bit strange to us as well especially as the letter from DIAC asked for work experience for the 12 months prior to application. Our agent has assured us however that they actually want references etc to prove that you have continued to work in the same profession. We are just going along with it and hoping for the best.:wacko:

Mummy Mann we have just spoken to our agent as we have been asked to provide further work experience evidence. We thought the same as you that we have provided everything - 2 references, letter from HR, bankstatements, payslips etc. Our agent said that DIAC like to have recent work refs, payslips etc and told us to submit updated copies of all of these. They said that this was a usual request from DIAC to prove that you are still in the profession doing the same hours etc. Hope this helps x

It means the former that all applicants are allocated to case officer. Hope this answers your question. Very busy at the moment being on cloud 9!!

I have noticed that a lot of people seem to be waiting for evidence of work experience. We are a Family Sponsored 176 and on our document checklist there is nothing about work experience only proof of skills assessment. Is the work experience something that appears after we get a CO??:unsure:

Not started registration yet will only start this process once we have been allocated a CO. What about yourself?

Hi I'm not sure about this but I do recall reading somewhere that IELTS was not needed when application was lodged. I remember having this query with my agent but they insisted that IELTS was needed for them to lodge application. If I can remember where i found this information I will post it. Good Luck

Why do DIAC ask for verification of work experience? I thought that everything was submitted at point of application????
