  1. Hi guys, I found this thread on spouse visas and thought it would be best to ask my question here. Anyone who could assist, please provide some information as i am planning of applying at the end of December I am an australian permanent resident and will be sponsoring my fiance to who I will be getting married in a week. The problems we are facing are as follows: I have a child from a lady and I pay child support. my question was, do I need to declare a de facto relationship even if I havent been living with her. I know the kid is in question here and I am not questioning that part of it. The lady and I were not in a relationship and got involved a few years ago when I had not stepped into Australia. She got pregnant and told me about it only a few months later. I got to australia and BANG......she tells me about child support.. which i dont have any regrets or issues with. I lived at her place for a few days as I wanted to spend time with the child but not as a couple. She was aware that I will be getting married soon so there was no doubt of me misleading her or trying to do the unethical. We did not share our finances ot any domestic chores. I moved out and have been living on my own since.... so, now that you guys have a slight background.... Do I have a declare a de facto relationship.... I spoke to immigration but received mixed answers... They said dont declare it as a relationship if you think its not but attach a cover letter explaining the entire situation..... Any bits or pieces of information would be highly appreciated. Thanks

  7. DIAC opens tomorrow..... I know I am being a little too hopeful..LOL
  8. Hi Guys, I uploaded the pending documents the CO requested, Now I have my fingers crossed. I know it will take sometime considering the upcoming holiday week
  9. Hi, I sent them the reference letters of both the company's i worked in. Salary slips for the the one I currently work in and taxation documents. I did not have any payslips for the previous employer as the employees were paid in cash and no taxation documents as my salary was not under the taxable bracket. My work experience criterion shows met, which means I have the relevant documentation to cover the 12 months in a skilled application prior to lodging my application. The specific work experience is where additional documentation has been requested... I may need to provide some more documentation in regards to my previous employment. I intend on providing a letter from a chartered accountant explaining why I had not filed returns when I was employed with the previous company. Also I have a salary certificate that highlights the salary and the mode of payment... Do you or anyone think this should suffice

  11. Hi Guys, I was allocated a CO today... Happy and worried ..mixed feelings...All the documents show as met except specific work experience . The CO has asked for additional employment documents/evidence. I have submitted all that I had, What else do you think I should provide.... My work experience shows as met...I am a little worried about the specific work experience part...Any suggestions ??
  12. Hello All!! I am yet awaiting a CO. Meds have been finalized and updated but no update on the document checklist whatsoever. Maybe a CO has been allocated but no update on the tracking website. I see a lot of folks on here get a CO and have been asked for Meds and PCC... I have decided to frontload my PCC as well...Lets see how it goes.... By the way I applied on 05/05/2011.. Have a good day!!
  13. Apreciate the prompt reply.... Atleast the good news is I have the medical tests in order.... I called my agent today and he said, '' There ar verification checks being performed " . I wonder where he gets that information from. Maybe he speaks from experience..... I will be frontloading my PCC next week...Lets hope for the best then.........
  14. I just seen a status update on my file. Helath requirements have been finalized today. However I dont see any update on the status of the other documents. Does this mean I have been allocated a Co???? I front loaded my medicals a week and a half ago. I havent received any email or anything of that sort.... Really confused.... My meds were the uploaded the last..... This doesnt make sense
  15. I have been seeing a lot of June applicants geting CO's... Should I worry... The DIAC update indicated a completion of CO's being allocated to applications until 28th April....I am just a few days away..5th May...No news for me... My agent sayd that they must be performing some verifications/checks and although you may have been allocated a CO, the department may just not update it.... however he will be sending an enquiry coming Monday....
