  1. Hi pinup, check out my experience on http://www.pomsinoz.com/forum/migration-issues/112960-noim-notice-intended-marriage-question.html#post1062042 Hope it helps!
  2. Hi nbt , The visa is electronical. I am going to AH, London on 3th of May to get my sticker. I do not have an appointment but i will be there at 9 am.
  3. Hi Tillyloola , Thanks again, i think i will just pop up in front of the migration branch one day in May when i will have more free time. I do not think they will have different requirements because the procedure was the same for me. The only difference was that i had to present some translations regarding my documents and Bulgarian police check. I can take this ricks :-) but i am not willing to post mine and my daughter's passports to London. Even with special delivery i have no trust in Royal mail due to some bad and stressful experience in the past. However Eastbourne is not too far from London- just 1,30 h by train. My case officer was DP and i had to ring him only once, he wasn't there and finally on the 5th time i left a message. By 3.30 pm i didn't get a call back so i rang once again and he answered. I do not know what to advice you but thinking these COs are human beings image he is sick and he wont be there for a week. In this case i believe that if you call to the embassy and ask somebody else to answer your questions wont be a bad idea. Fingers and toes crossed for you! Cheers and have a good day!
  4. Thank you again for your prompt and detailed reply Tillyloola:biggrin: , All you are saying makes a sense. I have been reading some horror stories as well and i do really want to avoid some crash on the airport. I am also travelling with Bulgarian passport and even Bulgaria is considered as a low risk country i am still worried. So i took a decision. Instead of stressing at home I am going to London sometime next month in the migration branch and i am getting my visa label so that i can sleep calm.
  5. Hi Tillyloola and thank you for your reply. I know it is a bit problematic without the visa label but as far as i know in AH, London just refuse to put it in even after has been requested. I was planning to get it once i am in Brisbane( if its needed). Ah and by the way i don't have visa number on my official letter, there is still my ref case number! VEVO is Visa Entitlement Verification Online - there is one for personal use and one for Organisations ( employers and government institutions ). We are flying with Singapore airlines and i have very quick connection so we wont go out. I also do not understand why is all this drama around the labels when people experience problems with the electronic visas. I really hope someone who has been trough this to share his/her experience with me! Good day to everyone and to you Tillyloola
  6. Hi everyone, I have question to everyone who had their visas approved offshore... As we don't have a label in the passport, is there anyway that we can check our visas from UK. I found out that to use VEVO i have to be in OZ so that i can set up a password. It will be a nightmare to go to the airport and somebody to tell you sorry we cant find your visa!
  7. Hi Savannah1 , I have been given exactly 6 months not 5-6 and as far as i know other people who applied around me have been told the same. Things might be changed since then. May be the COs don't like to be bothered so they say 6 months and surprise you much earlier when you less expect it :-)) We got our tickets with Singapore airlines and we are flying to Brisbane on 28 of June... can't wait :-)))
  8. Hi Savannah1 Mine was approved for 4 months and 2 weeks, which is roughly the 5th month. I don't think that the COs got the choice how quick to finalise a certain case. The processing time is changing. We sent an e-mail to AH in May,2010 and we have been told 3-4 months. When we submitted the application end of Oct,2010 i have been advised 6 months.I haven't seen an application proceesed for less then the 4 months during this period which is unfortunate or i might be wrong
  9. Hi Toffa, I think that once your CO requests for medicals and police checks that means that your application has been approved on the basis of your relationship- that is genuine and ongoing.
  10. Hi Savannah, You will receive an e-mail with an attachment saying that your visa was granted. You do not need to send your passport, the visa is linked to your passport number and it is electronical. Hope this helps
  11. Hi everyone, I am so pleased to inform you that my visa was granted today - 4 months and 11 days in total!CO DP Good luck to everyone
  12. What's the exact date of your appl pegeen? Mine is from 19.10 and i have been told last week that my visa will be granted in 4 weeks.
  13. HI EVERYONE, Here is a quick update of my case.Yesterday i spoke with my CO - D.P. and he confirmed that the progress of my visa application is going smoothly and he is looking to approve it in the next 4 weeks. Appl for PMV subclass 300 - 19.10.2010. We are still kicking our self why we didn't go for 309/301 .The CO said we have really strong case. Anyway we have to go trough another appl 820/801 after our marriage
  14. Congratulations to you too tloring! We are also planning to go to Brisbane where my fiance is from but we may consider changing of these plans.
