Hi, Just thought my AOS update might help some on here who are in a similar position. My parents were asked by Immi (via their MA) to get their medicals and police checks done and for me to start my AOS application. This was approved yesterday and took just under 9wks from start to finish. My parents acknowledgement date is 22/04/15. They do not yet have a case officer. Good luck, hopefully things will move quickly for us all! ?

Hi, does anyone know if my parents can open a bank acct in Oz and transfer money over whilst waiting for their visa to be granted? It looks like it is likely to be around April next yr before it gets granted and they would like to have their money ready to transfer over for their final VAC. TIA

Hi, I've just contacted our lender today and they said we can rent our property out for a year. I asked about changing to a buy to let mortgage and they said I can't because I won't be living in the UK then I cannot have a BTL mortgage! I have read on here that people have done this, can anyone help on how I go about this please? Thanks
