  1. Hey guys, Hope you're all well. Have any Nurses heard of, or know anything about, an agency based in North Sydney called Australian Nursing Network? I have an interview with them tomorrow but I can't find any feedback about them online. Also, i'm really struggling to find work as an RN at the moment (13 years in Cardiology is not serving me well:() and wondered if anyone knows of any Agencies that are good at finding shifts. thanks xx
  2. Hey everyone, Just moved here 4 months ago and would love to meet some new people to hang out with. I'm 34, single (gay) and currently living with family in Penrith. P.M if you'd like to chat it would be ace to meet some cool people
  3. I have a few questions but here are the main ones. If I'm successful in getting a job sponsor for 457 Visa.. Police checks - when is a good time to apply for them and approximately how many copies will I need? Written proof of Immunisations - I only have baby records, which are handwritten on a card. I don't have any GP records and doubt my old schools will have kept records either. Is it advisable to just ask my Practice Nurse for a whole new set of jabs.
  4. Hi All, I've been copying all my certificates, ready to get them notorised and then out of the blue today I got an email from my AHPRA lady, saying that they've received my IELTS results and she will post an 'Eligible for Registration' letter to me. Does this mean that when I get the letter I can start applying for jobs or am I not even close to that stage yet?
  5. Thanks Danielle, that's helped loads. I've had the same problem with my IELTS results, as well as asking for a total of 3 copies to be sent from the testing centre here, I've also asked the ANMC to send on 2 occasions too. 10 years of certificates will cost a fortune but I guess it's worth it in the end.
  6. Hey guys, As I did Project 2000 and it was a diploma, not a degree, I have to send course certificates to AHPRA to prove that continuing education is at degree level. Was just wondering if anyone else has had to provide similar stuff and if so, was AHRPA cool with notorised certificates only - or do you somehow have to prove how many hours you spent on the courses etc? I emailed my case officer advisor lady and she replied with 'only CPD education at University level is required to assess your application.' but I'm worried that if I just send certificates, they'll ask for more info! I want everything to be spot on.
