Hi OSN, we are wanting to crack on and get these medicals booked in.. Do we need a HAP ID each? If so, really struggling to find them?? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Hi, hope you don't mind me joining this as we have applied for a 190 visa. We lodged ours 29th may and still waiting for CO contact... I thought I was patient but i'm really not! :wacko: Not done medicals or police checks yet however we are thinking of doing this to hopefully try and speed up the process.. rather than wait to be asked. We are heading to WA. Is anyone else? Myself, 30, my partner 35, and 2 kids, son 10, daughter 6.

Oh thank you for that! Do you know whereabouts you are heading Perth? We have family up north, Butler way, so possibly heading that way for us but waiting till we get there to decide

Change that, read it could make the visa processing longer if try to do medical now we've applied for our visa.. will wait ever so patiently for contact from CO..

Just thought i'd start this thread for those that lodged their visa in May. We lodged ours 29th May, not done medicals and police checks yet (however was planning on phoning to book medicals this week - if anyone has any info how we can do this when we have already lodged for our visa will be greatly appreciated - what info do you need to give them when you book?) Still no contact from a CO but hopefully not too long to wait.. We are going to Perth, there is myself (Mel, 30) partner Carl (electrician), 34, shaun 10 and chloe 6.

Well.. 1st of July tomorrow!!! Cannot believe how these past weeks have draggggeeeddd.... Yes i know we could still have a wait to hear but now knowing it could be any time from tomorrow is soooo exciting!!!!! :jiggy:

wahoo only another 3 and a half weeks to go!! We're waiting to hear back if our 190 application is accepted too cannot wait to get on that plane!

Hi Guys, we are filling out our visa application and the question ' has this applicant undertaken a health examination for an australian visa...' we haven't as waiting for CO to tell us.. is it 'wrong' to put no? putting no won't affect our visa application will it? So excited now on the visa application as it definitely feels we've been doing this for ages!!! Fingers crossed you all hear soon too

Nic1171 could you use funds in bank and assets to prove sufficient funds?

Thanks for your reply, we must be the unlucky ones being asked for evidence..haha. just wondering what/how they expect us to prove this? We are planning on moving in september (if visa is granted) by which point we will have said amount.. so we cant prove 'future wages' that will make some of the amount, plus with selling our car and van nearer the time, how do we prove this? Sorry for all the questions. Its been a long steady process and so exciting getting towards the final steps

Hi all, New to this site so thought I'd say hello. Me, my partner and our 2 kids are hoping to move from the UK to Perth by either the end of this year/beginning of 2015...hoping this year Going over via my partner who is an electrician and by the 190 Visa. We are looking at north of the river just not too sure where. We have family who we will be staying with so we can go look around, but was just wondering if anyone could help us in the way of areas. Will be renting, would like to be near schools, shops and the beach (if lucky enough) have looked on the internet around joondalup and surrounding areas and also Butler where family are. Could anyone give us any more places to consider? Happy New year all. Looking forward to hearing from some of you I hope.
