    Visa's ??

Happy New year to you all! Hope you all had a lovely xmas, we enjoyed a lovely xmas with family in UK after being in oz for the past 2 years. However, we were there on a 457 visa and had to return in July due to redundancy. It was a move we didn't want to make but all has been good back in UK with jobs , being near family etc but hubby and kids are struggling to settle and want to return! So we have decided that OZ is where we would like to be and want to start our PR visa Application. So I am looking for some advice on how to get started. Hubby has completed the IELTS test in June and passed with flying colours, so can anyone recommend an agent that we could use to get things underway. Thanks sooo much in advance x
  2. That's what I thought. Thx for info.
  3. Hi all, Been in oz for 18mnths under my OH 457 visa. Just been advised the company is closing and he is being made redundant we really don't want to leave oz but not sure how easy it is to get another sponsor to take over our visa. I also have just been offered a really good full time position so I was wondering if I were able to take over the visa or if there is any other visa we can apply for in this situation? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks in advance

Kids have settled really well....they aren't in school yet tho...looked at 3 today, one public and 2 private....so we just deciding which to apply for then hope to get them in next week. 9. Hi all... Just a quickie to pick you brains.... How much does it cost for a full head colour, cut, and blow dry in the hills area? Thanks in advance guys, a minor thing I know....but I need to make sure I can cover the grey hairs...as I'm sure my head will be full of them by the time I get there

  15. Hi all... Just thinking about my handing my notice at work before we move to Sydney in sept....and couldn't help but think....what the hell will I do all day there....I have 2kiddies 8 and 5 so I know I will be busy with them but when they at school and hubby at work......what will I do? I work full time at the moment with awful commute to work so looking fwd to stepping off that for a wee while but just wondered if there are any other non working mums with kids in school out there who can give me a idea of a typical day? Many thx

  19. Yep, I know exactly what you mean. We have been working on this move for 18 months....all we ever wanted...now the opportunity is here....all paid for....I'm not actually sure I want to take the chance....and to top it off....I got a promotion at work yesterday....arghhhh....my kids happy in school....got a lovely house (area could be better) but hubby works perm nights and I am full time so we don't get much family togetherness....we love outdoors but weather spoils it....went on bike ride recently and ended up eating picnic in rain....I'm so confused too...so u r not alone.
  20. I know exactly how u feel, my hubby just been offered job and contract arrived today so have a week to decide. My kids 5 and 8 and I'm still worried about the move....when in fact they will be fine and it will be me that struggles! What trade is oh in and when would you be moving?
  21. Oh Rachel.....I have no idea about areas. Hubby will be working at Sydney airport, but willing to commute as long as we are all settled. Telling kids this week and dreading it.....boy age 8 loves oz, but doesn't want to leave school, family and home.....it's going to break my heart....but it will mean we can go on our adventure. I have a 17yr old stepdaughter that wants to come out for a gap year too. Wow, yes take your caravan.....think of all the places you can visit in it....amazing....we will take the tents.....and I hate camping as it Always rains!! anyway keep us posted on ur progress....
