9.
Hey Ropey - going great here. Weather has turned out good now - mid to late 20s every day, humidity has fallen off after a few sticky days. Carols in the evening warmth yesterday and some more tomorrow. Have a good Christmas yourselves! and all the best for 2011.

The basic stain glass skills are cutting the glass and soldering - a bit of practice, and some patience, is all that is needed. (And some plasters!!)

Photography sounds good - what type would you like to do?

 13.
Hi - thanks for asking - I did a stained glass course as we wanted to leadlight one of the windows in our house (the two-paned window in the photo album). It was good fun and I ended up doing another couple of windows in our house, plus some Christmas decorations and other bits and bobs. I would recommend trying stain glass if you have not already had a go. How about yourself?

 14.
Glad to hear you enjoyed it! You have got some of the required kit I seem to remember. I guess now you just experiment for a while with some more test pieces? Then work out how much you can charge and get going! Thanks for getting back to me - I would be interested in seeing some of your recent work from the course.

I was asked a couple of times by friends/colleagues if I would take on a 'commission'. To be honest, when I priced a piece then considered the time and effort involved, it just wasn't worth my while compared to other consultancy stuff I can do in my spare time. Likewise with the Christmas decs - I sold 60 for £1.50 a pop, but spent the best part of a month making them in the evening. It has a tendency to zap my interest and enjoyment! I will forward the photos in due course.
