we had our visa today, and the email says we wont get a visa in our passport.....its all electronic now. as long as you have your old passport aswell, I would assume that your new passport is linked to it in any case.

Cant believe it....we have THE email!!! Ourt visas are through...and we have til O t 9th next yr to leave the country wooooooop its been a yr, but yippppeeeeeeeeee

we are looking at Rockingham. its up and coming, so a bit cheaper than butler we have friends in the clarkson butler area to best of luck, keep us posted.

How are we all doing guys? any visas yet? we got our police checks thro...and have passed our medicals....mine is with CO but Pauls has disapeared!! so not sure what happens now, just waiting for it to turn up i suppose!!!

i know they been making a huge deal about the fact that its on Crimewatch again on Thurs, and they were playing on the fact that they had located 'mobile phone tracking' and knew who was where at the time

i just dont get how one can go and the other not. they were sent together. just keeping fingers crossed now!!

it depends what its for. my agent certified most of ours. other than that its solicitors.

yes the case officer contacted the agent to see if Paul had actually gone for his medical as mine had gone through, and his hasnt.

oh wow thats amazing, congrats on the provisional offer. i got to be honest, thats my biggest concern as paul has a good job over here, but once we got dates and flights booked, i think it will be easier to apply for jobs

ah I hope it turns up. i was hoping to have our visa granted last week. i pray it turns up. dont want to have to pay again

thanks. my family know. pauls dont. hes always said he will ring them from the airport we are pretty much there with the application now....but pauls medicals have gone missing so dont really know what the deal is now.

Well thought all was going to well. We have had a relatively easy time of the whole visa process to be honest. the hardest part was passing my IELTS, then my lovely agent left, and the new person doesnt seem all that great. Police checks are through, and medicals are passed....mine are with the Case Officer, but somehow between the e mail leaving the medical centre in Cardiff to arriving in Adelaide, Pauls has gone missing. I have rang the health centre and they said that they dont keep copies of anything and once its gone its gone. they assure me that they were both passed and sent. The agent doesnt seem at all bothered....but im really worried. Anyone experienced this and know what the hell happens now if this medical cant be found?? A very stressed out Donna!!

yes thats our biggest concern aswell I have to be honest. I have applied for some jobs online and had some interest, til they find out im still in UK. Will start applying a few weeks before we go i think, and put a date in the cover letter that im available for interviews from. think that will make me feel a bit easier going happy days, but scary times eh Pauls still not told his family yet

Have just applied for my medicals online. hopefully wont be too long before we hear!! wow, 1.5 months, thats incredibly fast...think that would scare me!!! soooo much to do before we go!!

not really settled on an area of perth yet, will see how it goes and what we can get!! wow Jan will soon be here found out today we got our case officer assigned, so im super chuffed

its only taken about 4 weeks to be assigned someone!! so need to get the medicals and police checks booked!! any ideas whats involved in the medicals and how long the wait is??

yes they should be fine. i have heared that people change the plugs over here as I believe to change the plugs out there has to be done by a qualified electrician. i may have got that wrong, but i remember reading it on here

ah right ok omg didnt realise that once police checks and meds are through we get the visas!! exciting and scary all at the same time. best i get the house decorated and on the market asap. The other half still hasnt told his family yet!!!!
