  4. Not sure! We are moving to Oz in July and since my friend fits Air Source Heat Pumps and advised me that it is a cost effective way of heating a pool and also if you have no further space on the roof, then a heat pump would be perfect as it can be located anywhere. You will need to contact some installers in Oz for further info. Daikin is a very good brand so check out their website. good luck Matt X
  5. Hi, Also look at Air Source Heat Pumps to heat your pool as they are very effective. Matt x x

  9. Hi Rupert, Thank you for the reply. Neither did we think that A Graded Meds got referred, however it seems that lots of A Graded meds are being referred (check out the "medicals referred" thread if you are interested). We have sold our house but have put off exchanging contracts as my wife's A Graded medical got referred and the only thing that was highlighted was her eczema! But the buyers are now pressing for the contracts to be exchanged which I don't mind doing as we can stay at my mums house until our flights which are booked for July 8th, I wanted to assure myself that the medical will be cleared and it's just a matter of time as there is a back log that the MOC are dealing with! Thanks again for your advise with this topic Matt x
  10. Hi Guys, Does anyone know or have heard of any applicant with an A Graded medical that has been referred to MOC being refused a visa on medical grounds? I have also included this question in the "Medicals Referred Thread" Thanks for any help & advise Matt x x x

  12. Hi all, thank you very much for your input and advise. We have been planning this for years and my family always new that I always wanted to move to Oz, however my wife's family did not. We are very rarely all together like we were on Boxing Day, and we wanted tell our family face to face and all at the same time, as we were worried that certain members may be upset if they were not told first before other family members, family politics!!! We have spoken to the members of the family that left our house after the big news, and they are ok, the news was just to much to take in and sit there and carry on as if nothing had happened. The one piece of advise i can give to those who still have to tell there friends and family is, everyone's family and friends are different, and there is no right or wrong way of telling people, so just go with what you think is best, as only you know your family and friends and you can never please everybody, however from experience if they love and care for you then all will be fine once they have had time to digest the news. love to you all Matt
  13. Hi all, I hope you all had a fab Christmas? we told are family today (Boxing Day) about our amazing news of moving to Australia in July 2013. My wife and I had talked in depth about how people would react to our news, and in our mind we new that people would be upset but could never imagine the reaction we got!!! Picture the scene!!! "My wife and I had cooked all morning on Boxing Day as both are family's were coming over for a buffet and a few drinks. They arrived for 1pm and once they were all seated in the lounge and the amazing amount of food was spread throughout the dinning room table, My wife and I stood at one end of the room and announced our news, well,l after 5 minutes of crying, 8 of them left!!! We were now left with food for 12 people and only 4 to eat it" Has anyone else had this reaction, I was surprised how upset they were, I now have got to eat buffet food for a week!!! Have a fab new year to you all. Matt xx
