  1. Morrisons lincolnshire sausage rolls. That is all.
  2. So very many holes in that statement where would one begin?
  3. Just to say its over 18's only. We went last year its an awesome day out, just don't be after food at tea time (the queues are mahoosive)
  4. I did hear that now we've just come out of the drought the weather was getting back to what it was like 15 / 20 years ago. Which here in Vic means colder winters. (disclaimer I didn't get this off a climatologist so could be wrong)
  5. Second that sentiment on them not turning up. poor old tradies the real world beckons.
  6. The Hunt Club is as nice as any new housing development can be. In the 'new' end they're putting in a road that (looks like) it goes onto the road Casey race and Casey fields are on easily navigable by push bike, when it gets opened for cars etc. is another matter. If cycling is your bag they have apparently top class mountain bike tracks at Lysterfield lake The shopping centre is walk-able as are the train stations. Fountain gate is on course to become the second largest in Australia (I think I heard that) if that is important. Suppose it depends what you want we wanted to be in a nice-ish area between the Dandenongs and the beaches, for that its about right for us.
  7. Yes, seems that trains into the city are direct but always had to change on way back, hence I now drive in. Probably works out the same with tolls petrol and parking (and a darn sight more convenient) this may change as they are upgrading the Cranbourne line and putting a new station in at the hunt club (eventually)
  8. Weren't the charges existing even before he left Sweden. I think we all know the US will do what it wants when it wants, lean on who it wants and the hell with everyone else. Land of the brave home of the free my a**e
  9. Hi, we're on the hunt club. we got the land through dennis and ended up getting them to build (different companies apparently) one thing to beware of is when they say fixed price - that's only for a class m slab and due to (more than heavy clay it may be more. We opted for a package with proper fixed costs bit pricier but piece of mind. Happy with decision but would probably have gone to berwick had i known that you have to change at dandenong to get back to crannie.

  11. I know you've been redirected, but just a quick answer, we used pickfords. Cost about 4 k I think. They were very good. As long as keep in contact with them when you land in oz.
  12. Thanks to all that have replied to my post ( it's ratchet on my OH's log in). The links are very helpful. I will look into it and see which way dad feels he can go. I've applied for 2 visas without assistance so I think dad will be able to work it out...... In relation to 457, I think he would fall outside of the age limit. Think it's 45 yrs and under. Thanks again!! Kelly
