Seems strange this might be our last cold Christmas, last time of picking a tree. next year will be so strange. I love not unlocking the doors Christmas day and it being just us, next year we will be fighting to get our towels on the beach first, and putting on sunscreen.:cool:

God this waiting room is boring I checked online 5 times last night even though I know my case officer is only gonna look at my app on 30th, but you never know. I'm gonna check every morning this week as well. If nothing happens Mon / Tues next week I'm not gonna be worth knowning I'm on night shift them nights so its gonna be constant checking. Just wanna know now so we can start living. We are looking at christmas items for the kids and saying to them we will see what it costs in Aus cos if its cheaper their, or i'm not getting that cos its to big to ship over. We are not sure now if we are even gonna ship our stuff or sell it and just take a few tea chests of stuff. Just want to knoe so we can make plans as the waiting is bugging the life out of me now.

It’s that time of week when the Case officers will be tucked up in bed waiting for that alarm clock to make that nasty noise which means that the weekend is over and it’s time to head off to their desks and process some of them their visas. So lets hope that the cleaner has not hovered up that important piece of paper, or the maintenance man used my file to write the details of the faulty part in the aircon unit. They seem now to have got some momentum going and fingers crossed this speed will continue. This week i found a penny in the loading area at work and passed it on to the first person that I saw, bless him he now passes me with caution (thinks I’m loopy) and last night at work there was no one in the building other than the fix it fairies and I found another 20p on the floor which is in my back pocket. So I have now passed on a penny, so my luck will never end, I’ve covered the other angle with all day long you’ll have good luck by keeping the 20p and I have a sticky green alien stuck to the wall in my lounge which the kids even tell their friend to leave it alone as I go neurotic if any one just looks at it funny. I have even gone outside on a clear night and waited for a shooting star. I better not see any magpies this week cos that will undo everything LOL Please Mr case officer grant me a visa so I can become normal again. Hi Bpremji, We are looking at QLD Goldcoast, fingers crossed if the visa fairy still has any fairy dust left. We are also T2 with JW. I was thinking the same thing as you Mandy with this one.

If you are (or your wife is) pregnant at the time of medicals and their is no xray taken then you may find that your medical will only be valid for 6 months so if front loading this may reduce your entry date.

Fate has restored the balance of this sarcasm today :embarrassed:as I am supporting hammer rash on left hand. One rather large swollen bruise.:arghh: As a lady of course i remained dignified :yes:as I threw the hammer further than they do in the Olympics.:shocked:

What does a fitter do, we'll the main role of a fitter is to moan a lot at the muppet that broke wherever needs fixing. 2nd is to try and bodge up what broke and pray to a god of choice that it lasts till the next shift arrive. 3rd is to find an excuse not to do the job and pass it on to someone else, 4th have several extended tea brakes and if you don't already take up smokin for more brakes. 5th moan some more moaning in an important part of the job and must be mastered. 6th ensure you have a good excuse and back up plan for your action in 1 - 5. 7th if you've not fixed it it must be electrical pass it on to an electrician who are grand master's of the above.

Oh Mandy I started reading your post and got that funny feeling in my tummy like when you go down a hill fast. Thought you had got a grant. So please for you I think week starting November will be our week, if the guy that I spoke to was right. Gonna take me an age to warm up now full of goose bumps. Lol. So happy for you. If we follow the correct time line your grant will be 1 week befor mine. As everything else has been. Fingers crossed

When does processing stop for Christmas as it is their holiday season so we might see processing slow down from mid November till end of January.

Yours should be finalised be the end of the week then your in the waiting room with the rest of us. (that gave me a picture in my head of the waiting room in the film Beetlejuice) :biglaugh: I might be on to something here, I might invent a board game called Visa processing. based on a variation of game of life. I think it would need a rather large board though. :yes:

I looked this morning for the first time in ages new nothing would have changed as its not going to be looked at untill 30th which is a Sunday :goofy:So Monday / Tuesday that week online looking is gonna get hammered:shocked:

Mine still says everything required only meds on first page finalised.:yes: On the doc page all still required. :wacko:Some CO's never update doc page:err: till the grant, just to make you panic for a bit longer I think.:arghh:
