  3.:notworthy::jiggy:Congratulations to everyone who has gotten their visas this week their is loads of you well done.:notworthy::jiggy:
  4. If you are (or your wife is) pregnant at the time of medicals and their is no xray taken then you may find that your medical will only be valid for 6 months so if front loading this may reduce your entry date.
  5. Thanks It's just helping me get though, I was normal in 2009 when we submitted the visa.
  6. Fate has restored the balance of this sarcasm today :embarrassed:as I am supporting hammer rash on left hand. One rather large swollen bruise.:arghh: As a lady of course i remained dignified :yes:as I threw the hammer further than they do in the Olympics.
  7. What does a fitter do, we'll the main role of a fitter is to moan a lot at the muppet that broke wherever needs fixing. 2nd is to try and bodge up what broke and pray to a god of choice that it lasts till the next shift arrive. 3rd is to find an excuse not to do the job and pass it on to someone else, 4th have several extended tea brakes and if you don't already take up smokin for more brakes. 5th moan some more moaning in an important part of the job and must be mastered. 6th ensure you have a good excuse and back up plan for your action in 1 - 5. 7th if you've not fixed it it must be electrical pass it on to an electrician who are grand master's of the above.
  8. Oh Mandy I started reading your post and got that funny feeling in my tummy like when you go down a hill fast. Thought you had got a grant. So please for you I think week starting November will be our week, if the guy that I spoke to was right. Gonna take me an age to warm up now full of goose bumps. Lol. So happy for you. If we follow the correct time line your grant will be 1 week befor mine. As everything else has been. Fingers crossed
  9. Fantastic news all the grants, will someone ask their CO to give mine a nudge and wake him up. I want a golden ticket. Well done everyone.
  10. Congratulations:jiggy: You lucky thing you. :jiggy:All the best now the fun starts.:jiggy:
  11. When does processing stop for Christmas as it is their holiday season so we might see processing slow down from mid November till end of January.
  12. Conratulations Mandy,:jiggy: You've been checking again, have to admit I did have a quick look this morning. Yours should be finalised be the end of the week then your in the waiting room with the rest of us. (that gave me a picture in my head of the waiting room in the film Beetlejuice) :biglaugh: I might be on to something here, I might invent a board game called Visa processing. based on a variation of game of life. I think it would need a rather large board though.
  13. Your pluggin Ya Birthday Tania, are you havin a party for us all to crash.:goofy:

  18. Mine still says everything required only meds on first page finalised. On the doc page all still required. :wacko:Some CO's never update doc page:err: till the grant, just to make you panic for a bit longer I think.:arghh:
  19. Thanks everyone for your replies as always your support is outstanding. You expect a level of service when you instruct a professional and when this falls below what you expect you do start to question it. I am quite happy to wait for my CO to do his job correctly and take time in processing the visa what I don’t like is the weak link in the chain that he is causing, unnecessary heart ache and worry. I hate incompetence and to make the matter worse I have paid for the privilege of this. When you have been in the visa system for so long you hold on to any hope of the future that you and family have hoped for, for so long and if this means making sure everyone is doing their job correctly then that is what I will do. Don’t forget some of us have had CO’s done medicals and police checks before only to have processing stopped and put on hold. So excuse me for my Worry, I will rest once the visa is granted. Sorry for my Ranting the past couple of weeks I’m gonna go quite now and take a break. Good Luck All.:hug:
  20. Umm Sounds like my agent this I smell a rat.................................:GEEK:just as I thought. Bingo, snap. No I've not gone mad, just found someone else using the same agent. Now normally my visa should follow the road ahead....... but hold on I've just put the indicator on and yes im taking a right turn (clive).:chatterbox: If you can decode the riddle above you will know what I am about to do:unsure::wideeyed: Umm Guess who has just phoned visa processing Sorry Mr Agent not sure if I could trust you. A Very nice guy said, that the note on my file said, that the case officer is due to review it on 30th of this month (which is a Sunday maybe they are doing overtime to process us all) All requested docs have been uploaded still unsure though if they are sufficient, and wont know till the 30th so sorry but your all stuck with me for a bit longer. Looks like a November visa for me fingers crossed, Please. My OCD took over and wanted to tie up the loose ends:embarrassed: so no more checking for me now untill the 1st November, i will have been at my current job for 4 years on the 5th so that would be funny:goofy:.
  21. This is the reply from my agent Applications can take between 2-3 months to be finalised once medicals are completed depending on which case officer you get. And I pay this guy money for this heart felt reply. he wasn't this blunt untill he took my money.
  22. Fingers crossed for you Mandy.
  23. I emailed my agent this morning, and even he has not replied yet. Think they are all ignoring me now. Lol what's the saying a watched kettle never boils, well I don't want coffee I want champagne. :clown-clowness:
