Quote the data protection act you have the right to have a copy of all docs the company hold for you. The company I worked for went bust and did not file income tax for me so I just got a letter off inland revenue and sent a copy of this with a letter stating why I could not provide a p60 for the year, I also got a guy who worked at the company to do me a reference. What I am saying is as long as you have some docs from the company e.g. pay slips, p60, reference you should be fine. If you feel you need to, provide a supporting stat dec. don’t panic you will be fine http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Data_Protection_Act

I wouldn't worry they only say that to cover their arse. If they said sell your house and then didn't give you a visa then you would have some claim over them.

from the first page if you scroll down to the bottom it says view visa entitlement or view entitlement details then it takes you to another page

That layout thing happened to mine last monday :wideeyed:and them changes were due to it being granted :huh:did you check the entitlement page as i very nearly missed the fact that mine had been granted.:unsure: ( You can kick my shin if you want after checking ):skeptical::frown:

People used to laugh and mock my insanity:eek: but it seems to be a side effect of the waiting room.:yes: Congratulations Egyptian Prince on getting a CO. :jiggy: Core and Waitingtogo it won’t be to long until you find the exit to the waiting room and return to normal.:cute: Umm is their ever a normal once you exit the waiting room. :biggrin::shocked::goofy:

Spend the weekend as their is loads to see and do, it's scary though that this time next year we will at least of been to Australia. :yes: For them stressing about being in the waiting room,:wacko: I am now at the job centre sending my rather Australian resume to every Tom dick and Bruce now this is stressing me out every morning looking to see if I have got a reply off anyone.:swoon:

Hang in their everyone. It’s a strange process that turns your world around people who say selling a house is the most stressful thing you will ever do (sorry Tania) should give this a try. Someone who has never met you decides the path your life and your family’s life will take. Weekends should be happy times to relax and unwind from a hard week at work but in reality it is a time to gather further information, spend hours on line researching areas, jobs, houses, schools, clubs ........... Then Sunday night comes and it back to clock watching 11pm Diac will be open now, has my co had a good weekend, is he/she on holiday, off sick, in a bad mood, is my application at the front of the pile has another pile been put on top of the last pile so my app is now under the new apps. Monday morning arrives and it’s time to switch the computer on because your alarm goes off 10 mins earlier now to give you the extra time to check. Do you check email, online app or poms first? Then you walk away with your heart aching and your mood changed to, for god’s sake when will it be my turn. Your turn will come and when it does you will be happy that you have been through the emotions of the past 3,6,12,24,36,38 months as it will make your visa all the better it will make you understand how much you wanted the paper it is written on. And when you get the letter that says you don’t need to get the stamp in your passport as your visa is stored electronically you will say “Don’t you know what i have been through I want a stamp in my passport” so for those of us that are on U.K soil. See you in London for the stamp.
